Counterpoint: He could have refused, gotten fired, maybe rested up for a few months to heal, then found his way in GCW or CYN by September or so. Jeff Hardy will always have someone lining up to pay him to jump off high things.
I mean, he didn't go yet. he just said he's open to it. unfortunately, there's still plenty of time for this to continue down a bad path.
GCW or CYN probably cannot afford him. If he wants massive money, it's AEW or WWE and the bridge is burned with WWE.
I wouldn’t be shocked if Christian volunteered to team up with Matt and he costs JE the titles to complete the heel turn.
I would just go a Jurassic Express vs Young Bucks. You didn't need the Hardys anyway. This is all building to a Bucks vs FTR thing so there's not much adjustment needed to the plan.
Weak just suspending him and making him go to rehab. When wwe tried to do that to him they were a terrible company. He should be fired. He's 44, he's not a young kid anymore making stupid mistakes. That TNA match was 11 years ago. This has been a long running issue. He clearly doesn't want help (see his comments when wwe tried to send him to rehab and his long history of issues). People who don't want help won't get it. He's going to coast through another rehab only to save his job and we'll see another story about him in the future.
I, for one, don’t need to see Jeff throw his disheveled corpse off of ladders at this stage of his career. Seeing a lot of people acknowledge his demons without mentioning the number of times the guy has taken massive bumps that could only be treated with painkillers in the American medical system.
He was drinking and driving, not on painkillers (well maybe he was on that too) And that furthers my point he should be fired, for his own good as well as the other reasons already stated. Suspending him and then letting him come back and wrestle again is not only stupid, but it's reckless for a guy of his age and will almost certainly undue anything he got from a rehab he didn't want to do
My point was he has abused whatever he could get his hands on because people have enabled him to put his body through unfathomable wear and tear for decades. It’s not a surprise to see him spiraling as long as he’s booked solely as the big spot guy.
Tanahashi and Moxley are supposed to confront each other Wednesday. Going to be kind of a loaded Dynamite. Jurassic Express vs. Bucks in a ladder match Jericho vs. Ortiz hair vs hair Britt Baker vs. Toni Storm Miro vs. Ethan Page in All-Atlantic tournament Dax Harwood vs. Will Ospreay Wardlow vs. 20 security guards lol
My wrestler friend posted a video of Jeff singing terribly with his/a band from what I assume was the night before in her insta stories.
Laurinaitis is the one that Cornette always says recruited women's roster members by looking at modeling magazines or something like that, right? Who would have thought something like this
I bet Steph got wind of this shit coming out and that's the reason for her stepping away for a bit. I can't imagine the embarrassment and anger she probably has for her father. I'm sure she wasn't looking forward to being the CBO and having to face all these questions.
Going one step further it wouldn't surprise me if Shane knew about a ton of this stuff long ago and left. Shane has also come off a big time family man. He probably grew up and witnesses what a piece of shit his dad was and decided to be the opposite. That's probably the most optimistic take on this. A tell all book would shatter records if it would ever come out about the McMahon family.
Patterson but he is dead. Probably Prichard and Johnny Ace after him. Coincidentally, they have both been brought back in the fold in recent years and kept close to Vince.
Idk some of those stories that have come out lately make it sound like she got pushed out by some of Khan’s people because she sucked at her job
