THere was only like one great match (tag match) and one good match (men's MITB despite the dumbass finish), other matches were fairly forgettable in terms of quality.

Didn’t see it discussed but it looks like Edge had a vignette during the event. Was pretty cool… a walk through the early stages of his career. I saw some people thought it may be Bray. Curious when or if he decides to return.
While I like Liv, she is a walking botch. Main Event was predictable and somehow WWE managed to do what the fans want yet somehow fuck it up. Would of given the briefcase to Riddle, built up AT as someone that should be in the Main Event for awhile and had Omos nowhere in that match. Lashley going from champion to random guy holding an irrelevant title in like 6 months is quite the fall. Watch Dynamite.
My guess is Roman isn’t dropping the title or if he does it’s going to stay on Smackdown for a long while. Lashley getting the US title and elevating it to the defacto main title on RAW would be pretty smart. I have no faith that’s what the plan is but it would be my plan lol.

Liv and Theory winning MITB is a great thing, Becky, Seth, Sami don’t need the case. They are heavily featured and established. I guess a case could be made for Riddle but to me it’s splitting hairs. I would assume that Riddle and Randy is going to be a major storyline we will get at some point soon and probably the reason why he wasn’t given the win.
They won’t. Just like they claim to not watch WWE yet are in tune with every last storyline and event that takes place.

From what all I have read, a lot of people hate Theory because it seems Theory is Vince's new "chosen one" that is being shoved down everyone's throat.
right creating new stars means putting them in interesting situations and allow them to entertain the crowd through their own charisma and athletic skill, not just have them win over and over again until people just give up
The only issue is that if the storyline of "Vince's guy" weren't attached to Theory, would anyone think he should be remotely close to a title shot, or much less capable of taking the belt off Reigns. The US title was perfect, now they are hotshotting him to a main event not many people think he can win. On one hand, maybe putting every single egg in the Roman basket, then having no backup plan for Cody Rhodes has them throwing shit against the wall, but they aren't very good at storylines when given a chance to plan, so why should we expect a miracle. At least a Rollins tease would be fun, but Theory is as bland as skim milk and white toast. They aren't creating stars. They're telling you this person is going to be a star, deal with it.
This isn’t a Roman winning every week as his cuts suffering succotash promos. The dude is doing the work. He’s been hyped as a can’t miss prospect since his days in Evolve. Vince sent his ass back to NXT after his first call up to work on his character work where he was part of The Way and worked with Gargano. He was given a Egg as his first major storyline after the call up…. He was able to overcome that with awesome in ring performances including stealing the show at Elimination Chamber by bumping his ass off for Brock. He had a stand out match at Mania and just cut maybe his best promo in WWE standing face to face with Cena. The narrative that he’s not getting himself over is just nonsense.
Just because he had the case doesn’t mean he will cash in right away. Edge cashed in at a NYD PPV, Dolph cashed in the night after Mania, Rollins at Mania. It’s possible that he doesn’t cash for a few months and just continues to develop along the way with a program with Cena. God forbid we let them actually tell the story on TV before we judge
- Theory, as part of The Way, was funny and someone I can get behind to support - Theory, as an obnoxious asshole, playing Vince’s golden child, is not something I support. Problem is, Vince inserted himself into the story to make it known that Theory is his next project and no one likes that. Also, another problem is Roman is still a heel. Theory cashing in on let’s say Cody Rhodes, is far better storyline
Sure, they have been absolutely nailing storylines the last few years. I guess if this fails, there's always Roman/Brock. Maybe throw a cool adjective to his name to get him over.

Not a huge fan of theory winning but that’s just because I wanted riddle or Sami. Theory is good, his character is just annoying as shit… this is also because we’re all old now and his character is the privileged gen z kid that we all hate irl.
I just don’t find him remotely interesting. I’ll admit I have a bias because he does nothing for me and he’s getting too much too early, but maybe this is the one time they shove someone down fans throats and it works.
I’m giving Theory through a feud with Cena to hook me. I don’t believe it’s a wasted moment giving him the briefcase yet but I’m not in love with the idea of going from Reigns to Theory, knowing Reigns had to be spoon-fed to people for a long time before he got over with the Tribal Chief persona. Kid has all the talent in the world but needs a couple of good feuds rather than being shoe-horned into 2 weeks here and 2 weeks there before he gets another huge moment.
