Ripley vs. Hayter would be a hell of a match - would be like watching a classic All Japan Women's Pro Wrestling match
Will be interesting to see how the non-War Games matches utilize two rings. Always a nice little twist in shows with a two-ring setup.
Full Gear last weekend, Survivor Series this weekend, and in two weeks we get ROH Final Battle. A nice four-week stretch for USA wrestling.
I think I’m burnt out on 3 and 4 way multi man “someone lays around on the outside for 3 minutes at a time” matches in all companies
The next PLE is Rumble in 2 months. I would’ve preferred Sami getting turned on tonight, goes away “injured” for a few weeks from the beatdown then comes back and starts beating the Usos in singles matches, then wins the Rumble. Sami will still make it good but dragging shit out can be wrestling’s worst enemy. See the Hayter/Britt stuff.
I think the way I’d like this to go is to have WM 39 be Rock/Roman, maybe sprinkle some KO/Sami stuff where he wants to be honorary Uce and team up with his old friend, Cody gets the big push in the first half of the year to take one title off of Roman at Summerslam, which he does with an assist from Sami then the second half of the year you split him off and give him the underdog story at WM40 to finally take the last title off Roman and let him have a nice long break before bringing him back midyear Let it build nice and slow like Bryan where he is so over you have to do it
Lol at comparing hottest angle in wrestling to Hayter/Britt It was a swerve to make them appear strong right before the turn. Let's let it play out before shitting on it that it may get stale, because it isn't yet
If KO does have a bad knee this is a great way to get him off TV for a few weeks. I don’t know if we are getting a Sami turn anytime soon. He’s extended a great storyline and made it fresh. This Bloodline story arch is a few years old now and it’s going to rival some of the best stuff ever done. For those who want this ending with Sami as champ I don’t know what the schedule looks like for the PLE prior to Mania but Sami winning the Royal Rumble and challenges Roman for the title at Mania. Bloodline turns on Sami on the build to Mania. KO returns at Mania to help Sami win the title. I think that’s the only way you can see Sami get a title shot. But honestly I’m with ZPZ and think this ends with KO and Sami challenging for the tag titles on night 2 of Mania.
Trips said this was the most views Survivor Series ever. I’m guessing they get real time streaming data. War Games might stick full time.
The turn on Sami during a random Raw/SD would be insanely lame. Only chance now is what Bankz laid out and hopefully that’s what they do moving forward. If it happens at like Elimination Chamber, meh. It absolutely needs to end with Sami winning the Rumble. And I think they turned Wardlow too soon on AEW.
Royal Rumble is most likely imo. Something happens leading up to it, sami gets revenge during Rumble or vice-versa
