It’sa shame nobody in corporate gets Wyatt’s gimmick. Also a shame he’s a fatty that won’t invest as much into the gym as he does coming up with all the gimmicks

 

Like I said before it started, I can see why they had this lead off the show, outside of Cody winning, nothing happened that's really going to overshadow anything else that occurs tonight. Not the type of match that's going to take the crowd energy out of the show the following match, but helped push Gunther up a level and gave Cody the moment we all knew was coming.

And I'm sure many were pretty entertained, so it was generally good booking - entertained fans and accomplished a couple big goals without overshadowing the rest of the card.

For my own personal tastes, I give that Rumble a 6.5 to 7 out of 10. It wasn't bad, not much really stood out, and the finish was a bit anti-climactic and predictable. And having Cody come in at 30 felt a bit lazy to me. But like I said before, not a fan of the rumble/battle royal format to begin with.

Bray = AEw era Jericho. The opponent may get on TV a lot, but the payoff is almost always ass and accomplishes nothing for the opponent.
