Dynamite did 1 million and was #1 for the first time (they had been as high as #2 a few times before).
YouTube taking forever to review and remove the strikes per AEW's request is what did it in. Keep in mind that any source of a copyright strike counts as a strike. It's not "three strikes against AEW" or "three strikes against Disney media" etc. It's three from anywhere. What happened with Maffew was he had 2 strikes that AEW told YouTube was done in error (auto-bots), and then, before YouTube could review and correct it, a third strike hit it, which could have come from anywhere as he uses copyright media from all over the place (Simpsons stuff, TNA stuff, WWE stuff, etc). Three strikes is three strikes regardless of the review policy, etc. YouTube auto bans you after three strikes. Of course, Maffew has been shut down multiple times in the past. He always finds his way back. He'll be on dailymotion again soon I'm sure
how does AEW keep messing up these big spot endings? Blood and Guts was another solid one ruined by shit planning by their set design team
This Jericho spot wasn’t that bad. Yes it looked like he landed in is a super soft crash mat and the diamond plate was printed on cardboard but what else are you going to do for 50 year old Jericho. now the “explosions” end of the death match? That was a fucking joke
They should have just never showed Jericho. Show MJF pushing him off the top of the cage and then cut the show.
I didnt realize Aubrey had a role in the back office. Looks like she did a lot of work clearing it up.
or cover the ramp with canvas so you can’t see the map. Or make it deeper so you can’t see Jericho at all. Also cutting the camera right as he goes off isn’t a terrible idea. You can then air the “aftermath” next week
Jericho spot is funny but I don't think it's anything worse than you see a lot of times. Not on the same level of the explosions
As he's falling Tony can shout "we're outta time, see you next Wednesday, on Dynamite!" Fade to black just before impact
Wife is out of town tonight so I got me on the thunderdome smackdown tonight. If you see a dude in a Rusev Day shirt with some UCF stuff on the wall behind him, it’s your boy
I was hoping we'd get a Kenny Omega vs Darby Allin title for title match but I guess they're ready to give Miro a big push
Sooooooo, watching the Pillman Dark Side of the Ring....damn his family has issues. His second wife went from Penthouse model to crackhead and his daughter called her “the Devil incarnate”and takes great joy that she’s ruined her life with drugs
My dad passed away when I was 5 and he always coached my older brother’s football teams growing up. Luckily I had uncles and an older brother that were there for me. When pillman JR was talking about no one being there to teach him to throw a football or play catch, that shit was hitting me hard.
a big part of Savage’s story is Elizabeth. The A&E biography was a lot like the dark side of the ring, in fact dark side was probably even harder on him
That's Brian Cage. Nick Gage was/is behind CZW I think? I recall him being a pretty extreme wrestler, but I could be wrong too.
He spent time in jail for a bank robbery. He almost killed David Arquette. He almost died from blood loss when he severed at artery in a death match. There is a ton more. He’s now one of the biggest names on the indies.
He is the guy that almost killed David Arquette and went to prison for robbing a bank. Garbage wrestler that does backyard wrestling matches.

A buddy of mine got my kid a Cameo from Darby for his 5th birthday last week. While it was awesome, he now wants all of his favorites in AEW to send him a video. Oh boy.
So Miro wins the belt this week. Open challenge for the next couple of months. July 21 in Texas, he says there's nobody's left. Samoa Joe's old TNA theme hits (I'm assuming Tony has access to this). Blood feud and you print money. Can you imagine?
WWE NXT referee Drake Wuertz (aka former Death Match performer Drake Younger) missed last night's NXT taping in order to attend a school board meeting for the Seminole County Public Schools, arguing to the Superintendent that, despite the current COVID-19 pandemic, he should refuse the masking of children in the schools, claiming that the dangers of wearing the masks "outweighs" the dangers of COVID-19 and that by not doing so, he was going against the wishes of God.
Kushida and Escobar was great last night. I'm all in on Hit Row... Back to back fantastic episodes for NXT.
Wrestlers in general are pretty carny, nothing like that surprises me. Jericho and his wife are right there too. I hear cornette rip on young bucks for their very out there right wing views too, but I don't have the first hand knowledge on them.
I thought Cornette just ripped on them for ruining the business with their terrible selling and finisher spamming.
Cornette hates everyone pretty much, but he's gone on rants about their right wing conspiracy theory nonsense too. Think it was something about tweets they later deleted or something, never heard the context for it
