Takeover won NXT the ratings battle last night, their final head to head with AEW. In all, AEW won 63 weeks, NXT won 10, with AEW winning all but 2 of the weeks in the 18-35 demo. Winning basically every week from the jump made it not ever feel like a war. Didn't help that most AEW fans like NXT the most of the three WWE brands. I think everyone is happy the shows are on different nights now
Despite "winning", Aew has to be happy the "war" is over. I don't think Vince has ever cared about NXT ratings and that probably was done as a stumbling block to aew. But in past few months aew has ran an angle with other promotions, brought in Sting, Big Show, Christian, used celebrities like Shaq and Mike Tyson and they are still dropping in ratings. This will be a timely boost for them.
You've got a weird hard-on for hating AEW. To each his own and all, but it's weird. They're certainly happy to be the lone wrestling show on Wednesdays. There's a small but not insignificant portion of the Wednesday night NXT audience that will switch over. Regardless, TNT wanted 300k weekly and has gotten anywhere from twice to three times that amount every single week. AEW is sitting pretty and doing fine, especially for a promotion that didn't exist two years ago.

That Edge promo was awesome. I think the move is to have Edge pin Daniel Bryan to win the title at Mania.

It is legit the only reason Bryan was inserted in to the match. They don’t want Roman taking the pin from a near 50 year old. Honestly, I understand it. But if that’s the case, don’t put your top title on a near 50 year old if you have remorse for doing it.
Normally I'd agree, but it completes the Edge comeback arc, opens a feud between him and DBry, and keeps Roman strong. I think it's the way to go. Either that or Roman retaining.

I thought Bianca vs Sasha would be legendary but thanks to the worst build up in history I’m like oh well. Bianca is a giggly idiot that just points at the sign and Sasha is a heel one day a face the next. I guess I want Sasha to win. Maybe it will be good.
