Gibbs looked really good, Holding was really good till their goal which is fine considering we were up by 4. Xhaka great again besides a horrible giveaway that ended in an offside goal.
really would like to see the same lineup for the weekend with mustafi and cech in there as well. also, any word on ramsey?
Yeah, he looked better today than the last few times he's played, but I noticed he was motioning to the sideline he wanted to be subbed right before Elneny replaced him. Didn't know if it was cramping, fatigue, or the usual that was bothering him.
Couldn't tell if it was West Ham being shit and injured or if Theo was just that anonymous but as soon as Ramsey came on this past weekend we started scoring. (Arseblog stats: http://news.arseblog.com/2016/12/west-ham-1-5-arsenal-by-the-alexis/)
Also as a complete overreaction to one game, I want Lucas on the wing over Theo. He seems a proper goal poacher.
How do they calculate those percentages? Shouldn't it just be a random chance for all teams? Seems a bit unfair.
It also takes into account the stipulations of who the other group winners can/can't play as well (e.g. Barca can't play Real since they're both in La Liga, Leicester City can't draw Porto since they were in the same group, etc.).
It is all the same to start with, but ends up being uneven because you can't be matched with teams from your own league or group.
Yeah but all those teams aren't in the same league or group so I don't see why Real has a much higher percentage than Benfica. I guess when all other teams leagues and groups are accounted for it must be the case that some teams will be more likely to pair with certain other teams. Pretty lame when that ends up being unfavorable like this though.
Seven group winners can draw Porto or Benfica; only four (including Arsenal) can draw Real or Sevilla. There just end up being a lot more possible combinations of matchups where Arsenal gets a team only three others can draw vs a team that six others can.
Hector has a fitness test today and could be back vs Stoke this weekend. On second thought, he should probably sit this one out.
Shouldn't need him We've gotten by okay without him for the most part and want to make sure he's 100% for the upcoming schedule congestion
Makes no sense not to but Wenger confirmed that they are gonna trigger the 1 year extension in Santi's deal
This seems to be something they're proud of Chris Wheatley @ChrisWheatley_ 10m10 minutes ago Stoke fans singing 'Aaron Ramsey, he walks with a limp'. Classy.
they've somehow twisted that whole event in their minds to the point where they feel it's Ramsey's fault.
I can't argue with it too much but Lee Mason sucks. How about doing something about this time wasting.
