It's the choice of the white and sheltered ironically For real....how has anyone under 40 (maybe broken is >40) gotten to this day without hearing about or knowing what Venmo is?
It's an app where you can pay people money. Once you have it set up you don't need their account # or something, just their username. College kids use it a lot, like splitting a tab they're like "ok Venmo me 3 bucks" or when they're having a bake sale on campus you see a sign "Venmo accepted!" The worst thing about it is for some reason it tries to have some sort of news feed social element where you can see "TC just paid broken internet $5!" You can even put a memo and say it was for weed or whatever
It is odd that it has that because it's not needed at all. With that being said, you can just turn a setting on that keeps all your payments private between you and the other person so it never shows up on that feed.
Yeah it really has revolutionized the illegal sports betting market more than anything. Never having to meet up with your bookie anymore is nice.
