It's extremely difficult to believe Miller didn't see Miles bring it into the car or see him leave it in the car when they got out or see the texts where Miles talks about it. Also Miles speaks in the text messages like Miller knew what he needed from the car and made it seem like Miller knew exactly why he needed him to come back. There's zero confusion in the texts between the two despite being so few words used.

Not ruling it out. From what I've read it's basically that the texts look bad, the dashcam doesn't. He could have thought he was just going to pick Miles up. Or he could have known exactly what he was doing while also trying to minimize his role in the situation
