What elite coach wouldn't want to go to the 8th best program in the SEC with a fanbase that seems to think they are Bama? I say this as a Notre Dame fan, but fuck UT, you're not really that special anymore. I mean you're better than Schiano, but not by much.
When Tennessee ends up buying out Schiano’s contract before announcing him as the new coach, you’d think it’d force some people in Columbus to question their university’s association with the man.
Rumor I saw was the Currie narrowed it down to Frost, Mullen, and Schiano. When the first two said no, he decided to go with Schiano. Everyone else in the AD was against it, and leaked it when Currie was in the air to mobilize support against it. I'm choosing to believe this.
So when this blows up and no coach wants to touch the job with a 1000000 ft pole, who is the highest regarded alum they can try and get the fanbase behind? Tee Martin
The is the manifestation of the SEC! SEC! mentality. Tennessee thinks they deserve a good coach because they are in a great conference. The problem is the next guy will get stomped by Bama and UGA and they will turn on them too.
Are the Buckeye posters sticking up for Schiano? He really hasn’t done that good of a job in Columbus.
Regardless of how good a coach he is, you can't have the face of the program accused of covering up child rape.
lol 99% of your fanbase has zero issue for Roy Moore, so let's not act like they have any actual morals
What do you do here if you are the AD? The entire state from the top down appears to be in open revolt.
Shit happens. Don Brown gave up 3 TD's to a Tim Beck led offense last year and I still think extremely highly of him.
