The instant recoil into the fetal position that occurred when they finally came to a rest on the ground makes me think they were fully aware and in excruciating pain. I really hope I am wrong.

someone in the comments said that the man's wife found him and called 911, not the narrator. Sounds like the narrator is a sociopath
he lived with brain damage https://fightworld.net/2023/02/28/schizophrenic-inmate-beate-by-prison-gang-survives-the-attack/
Yeah, it’s such a bizarre and cringe-inducing take on so many different levels that I don’t even know how to begin trying to address it.
You would think, but no apparently. According to the article, he's a schizophrenic in there on a domestic violence charge. https://fightworld.net/2023/02/28/schizophrenic-inmate-beate-by-prison-gang-survives-the-attack/
Pool chemicals. Tabs are trichlor, shock is sodium hypochlorite. When both dry they are fine but the smallest amount of water starts a nasty chemical reaction. That is why they should never be stored together. Larger amounts of water combined with smaller space and things go south quickly. Explosions are going to happen if not enough space to vent so never in the same container ever.
thanks for the education a.tramp it's been a while since I had a pool when I saw the video I assumed muriatic acid and something
Fun fact. This is one of the top reasons you never add shock to a skimmer in a pool. And this one is specifically if you have an inline chlorinator plumbed in to dissolve tabs. Years ago when I was an employee at a pool company, a chlorinator exploded when the cleaner was finishing up. Unfortunately for him he was standing by the chlorinator when it happened. He went to the ER for many stitches from the flying pvc shrapnel. I was sent over to inspect everything and find out what happened. The office expected me to find the cleaner had accidentally or inadvertently left valve(s) closed on the pool return causing a deadhead. That is an industry term for causing a sudden stop in a moving hydraulic train. When this happens, that moving train will find the weak spot and exploit the hell out of it. Not what I found. Found all valve positions normal. I did find shock still in the skimmer though. And found evidence that the filter had been bypassing debris into the pool. And then I noticed wet undissolved shock among the debris at the pad. The chlorinator is downstream of the filter. So I opened the filter and found large holes in the filtration grids. So basically this cleaner unknowingly made a bomb that sent himself to the er. The shock went straight through to the chlorinator and mixed with the shock in the closed and compressed chamber. The chemical reaction started and the pressure flew way past the chlorinator’s tolerance right as the cleaner was walking by. One of my favorite pool stories. Also, have followed ip on a similar situation where a cleaner added shock to a skimmer. Unfortunately for him the skimmer line was partially clogged and there was some tablet debris mixed in as well. This one exploded the plumbing under the concrete deck. The customer had just stepped out the back door onto the patio when he heard an explosion and then saw water fly ~15’ into the air out of all his skimmers. He said his lids looked like frisbees.
Correct. Sodium, calcium, potato, potato. That is why I switched to wrenches and saws and multimeters.
Yeah, I definitely didn't see it going that direction based on the twitter handle. I should have known it was bad considering it was under the "for you" tab
