can you imagine sheed at the dinner table with some scared white family all "imma need y'all niggas to go head an commit to this shit right here"
game on, ACC Paul Biancardi @PaulBiancardi BREAKING NEWS: Espn no. 4 prospect & no.1 PG in 2016 Dennis Smith tells ESPN that he has committed to N.C.State.
Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein The ACC showed it was CBB's best league last year and it got better. Tangible improvements at GT, Virginia Tech, FSU, and Wake Forest.
SI preview of the ACC season, awards, and teams. Pretty good refresher for the entire conference. http://www.si.com/college-basketbal...-duke-north-carolina-duke-virginia-louisville
at having Leonard Hamilton as coach of the year. Especially as their reasoning is giving it to a coach who makes a jump, yet they only picked FSU to improve by one game in conference.
but he's a pg at unc. I guess that's supposed to mean something, like a white forward at Duke is instantly beloved by ACC media
weak Andy KatzVerified account@ESPNAndyKatz Louisville: Rick Pitino won't go to ACC media day. Doesn't want to be a distraction.Yet UL sending 3 players who will be asked questions.
i think being able to burn unc, Duke, and ACC media in one go is worth a little more than 7.5, but that's fair.
watching the UNC/Louisville ACC tourney game as I get ready for a stellar evening with Roy Williams Battier started off the game talking about how Louisville likes to slow it down and score in the 50's
Am I crazy for thinking Brandon Ingram has a year closer to Justin Jackson last year, rather than 1st team All ACC?
i think that's a pretty accurate comp tbh and no way i would have grayson allen 2nd team based off 1 great game
I've never seen Ingram as the instant impact guy everyone's been predicting either, and these grapes aren't even sour
I think UVA is poised, perhaps by design, to have a little bit of the opposite type of year they've had the past two years. I wouldn't be surprised to see a team that struggles to find an identity early and maybe loses a couple games it shouldn't in January, but gets it all together at the right time in the tournament(s).
I think he's going to be really good, but it's going to take him some time to find his jump shot, and until then he isn't physical enough yet to dominate inside the 3 pt line in the ACC. Gonna have to adjust to defenders his size and length, just like Jackson did. Talent will win out, but not soon enough to be 1st team, IMO. Kind of an exception to most top guys in the country in that he isn't physically dominant.
He's really fucking skinny. Without even considering the talent part of the equation, the season is just going to wear on him physically. Allen is a stud.
Underrating us. Think we can be in the top 6 if Sidy and Legend can spell Landry from time to time this year. Most size in the post we have had under Brownell.
There hasn't been any decision. It seemed like he was ready to go this offseason but Arizona State jerked him around; I'd expect him to take a HC gig this offseason. Think we'll have to see where he and Wojo are in a few years. Us or Kentucky, I think. Going to be a fun year if it is us.
Yea just been seeing a lot of "Capel will stay on staff and be given the job after K retires...if he sucks, Brad Stevens will be available by then." Personally, Id rather have Capel over Wojo but thats b/c Capel is a monster recruiter. There is an 800+ page recruiting thread on the WF board dedicated to Giles. Its sad.
Fran FraschillaVerified account@franfraschilla Heard Louisville just announce that Damion Lee and Trey Lewis will handle all post game interviews this season.
nevermind looking like fraschilla full of it Jeff Greer@jeffgreer_cj Just landed. And no, Damion Lee and Trey Lewis are not doing all postgame pressers in place of Rick Pitino, according to UL's spokesman.
