If an athlete wants to further his education at a glorified community college then neither you or I should take issue with it.
I really fuckin hate the name "Operation Basketball." Sounds like something a 60 year old man thought young people would think was cool.
It's the media day they do every year with the coaches and two players from each team. UNC and Duke aren't doing it this year because they're too cool for it even though they're some of the closest schools http://www.theacc.com/news/2017/10/...c-operation-basketball-set-for-wednesday.aspx
It appears this news report that come up when I googled it was wrong. Looks like Greyson is coming and UNC is sending the whole squad. They must have fixed the compliance issue. http://www.syracuse.com/orangebaske...ging_players_to_acc_basketball_media_day.html
I don't like Pastner. But in earnest responses I'll be pulling for Danny Manning and Wake. Would be fun to see them good again and I hope they don't slip back without Collins.

Bonzie I also am just now looking at our schedule. That is a really tough schedule this year. Road games to file, Uva, and UNC. Multiple Saturday-Mondays as well. But I'm excited for basketball season
I hope he plays like an asshole; I would rather have 25 games of asshole Grayson than 30 games of neutered Grayson
I like Wake and I'm rooting for Danny Manning but it's starting to feel like one of those "Once it all comes together for this guy" guys where it never comes together.
Not going to make excuses for that GaSo loss, only watched the last 5 minutes. But GaSo did play well from what I saw. Still, cant lose home openers to mid majors. Defense is terrible. Best argument for why Manning wont break through. Its been at issue every season including Friday, and he doesnt seem to be strong at in-game adjustments. But he has a pretty solid recruiting class coming in. He's been a good, not great, recruiter. Id expect Bryant Crawford to leave, but otherwise the talent should be as good as we've had since Gaudio's 1st/2nd season. So talent points towards Manning trajectory still on the incline.
UVA almost scored 100. It’s a good thing we didn’t because if UVA ever scores 100 they have to cancel basketball forever.
