I think NY is dumb to fight this but there are clearly winners and losers in this just like any major decision and unions would seem to be winners in this. Like a few others have said amazon is not seen as Pro-union.
So left thinking people who are reading at a rapid pace? Ok. Sounds good. Why are you allowed to post.
Nowhere in this document does it say that Amazon will pay 30 billion in taxes. It also makes an assumption that the average Amazon salary will be 169k and that 75k jobs will be created. Provide a study on the actual Amazon proposal. Preferably one that actually supports your claim
its incredible that lech red pilled himself trying to create a troll persona please dont kill anyone as your ilk are highly predisposed to do
REMI study above cites $14 billion for the state. A separate study done by NYC Economic Development Corporation estimates $13.5 billion for the city. Thus $27.5 billion total.
tens of thousands of construction jobs? MNK job in SC is probably larger than the amazon one proposed in NYC and it's employing under 1k construction workers
You have yet to prove that Amazon will pay either your 27 billion or 30 billion number. I read your report. It doesn’t validate your stance. Amazon has proven to not pay taxes. Furthermore, Amazon has not remained committed to their initial proposal. You’re making shit up.
It's 25k jobs over 20+ years. Why is Google expanding here without these incentives. Amazon literally dangled this shit in front of us to troll everyone. They didn't even negotiate down. They just ran the second they didn't like what they heard. So let's be real how do any of you supporting this take anything Amazon said seriously?
And it was always going to be NY and DC because those are the two locations that fit their growth goals. Those two cities giving them anything is ridiculous.
whens the last time one of these sweetheart deals worked out for the local economy foxconn is currently in tatters
Study is based on them hiring 40k people, 60% more than Amazon said they would. What's up now, you fucking stupid cocksucker?
I did. I told you it didn’t say what you thought it did. Then you changed your story. I’m not reading it again bud.
Sounds like it would’ve been more successful than everyone thought. You may call me a cocksucker on the internet but I guarantee you wouldn’t say that to my face. I can benchpress more than you weigh.
I read it. I pointed out your error and you agreed and changed your story. I entered this discussion in good faith. You clearly didn’t.
Trump saved the Foxconn deal: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.th...8207102/trump-foxconn-wisconsin-factory-build “Tatters”
Mercedes was given $250 million in incentives to come to Alabama in 1993. 25 years later Alabama has an $8billion automobile industry that was previously non-existent. So it can work. It can also be terrible.
I’m sorry that the data you cited doesn’t present what you thought you did (even using inflated numbers that weren’t in Amazon’s proposal).
HaahhahaahhahahahahahaH what a tool. You are a cocksucker and wouldnt do shit about it if I said it to you on the street. So stop acting tough, Fuckboi
I read the link you provided. It doesn’t say what you thought it did. I don’t know why this is complicated. Maybe you should read the link you provided. Note that I’m not going to go find it again. I’m not that interested
just a heads up, he doesn't read any of the stuff he posts. He just finds inflammatory tweets and headlines. hth
weird how a doctor has time to post 250+ times over the course of several days. the troll has him obsessed
I did read the report. I pointed out where you were wrong. Then you agreed and changed your statement. Is this a thing you want to keep doing? Maybe you should read the report you provided.
