I’m going to rewatch it after I finish Andor today just for that fucking hallway scene. That is the only real Vader moment we’ve had outside of Obi Wan.
In terms of seeing Vader do what he can do with his powers. I understand the original trilogy had some good moments, but they lacked the CGI we have now, so you see how he can easily annihilate a group of people with relative ease.
Finished last night around 3am. Just a flawless series and some of the best Star Wars content I’ve ever seen. I watched Rogue One right after and went to bed at 5:30. I’m 40 years old.
Watched Rogue and a New Hope the past few days. It just dawned on me how fast shit ramped up. From Luthen getting the info about the death star in S2e10 to the destruction of the Death star - just a matter of days/weeks. Kind of crazy to think about. Rebellion was just plugging along. Barely held together. Then they get the info. Make some huge calls. Like Cassian going to meet w the dude at the start of Rogue One. All the events of Rogue One. All the events of A New Hope. Just a few weeks at most. Which means hyperspace is FAAAAAAAST lol
Biggest question the show raised, was she an ET? We know from phantom menace they’re Star Wars canon.
Just to confirm: Bail was never a bad guy; his escort team or whatever was merely infiltrated by that one woman. Right?
Absolutely flawless. too much to process right now, I probably need to rewatch 7-12 again. audibly said holy shit with Dedra in Narkina 5 the dude who played Major Partagaz played the role to perfection
I listen to most of their pods and really like them. Agreed that it was a bit of a weird conversation. I’d probably consider him a tragic antagonist or something like that. Far from a monster.

I do really like how they showed kinda the rank-and-file Imperials who are just doing a job. They nailed a lot of the junior-officier/enlisted intel/tech guys who are just nerds delighted to be out looking at cool stuff.
That was, hands down, one of my top three scenes in the whole series. In a way, the entire series was building up to that encounter (along with Cyril and Andor) and it did not disappoint.
I am very far behind and just finished the 3rd ep but Mon Mothma getting fucked up and dancing is a vibe, when I finish I will reward likes and such sry
It’s poetic, but that’s not the sunrise he was talking about. That sunrise would have been the day after Endor.
I'd think the sunrise would be the rebellion in full bloom, hence a new dawn (or a new hope if you will).
"But it's insulting to hear him run down by people who have given a fraction of his sacrifice to this rebellion."
Arsenal ladies win CL Finishing rogue one Buzzed and potentially drunk soon on good bourbon Today was a good day
Kinda disappointed Mon Mothma was so peripheral but overall an incredibly enjoyable experience I may regret this but Andor, halt and catch fire, and the Americans may be my top 3 shows ever. Or they all just hit me deeply in my feels
Finished the last 3 eps of Andor this afternoon and starting my first Rogue One since seeing it in theaters shortly. Season 2 was very very good
Finished season 2 this morning. This show is legitimately one of the best things I’ve ever watched and I’d argue it might be at the very top. Every moment is just so powerful. I have the day off tomorrow and plan to rewatch Rogue One while holding a box of tissues.
RO is my favorite to watch, but it’s not the best SW. I still can’t get over how fucking good season 2 was.
