Big distinction between planning time off and just continually making up excuses to not come in and leaving your co workers to clean up the mess
I hate the person that always seems to point out another coworkers time habits. Always some backhanded, asshole comment about a long lunch, leaving early or coming in late. Listen, you’re not my boss so shut the hell up.

yes we have a large support staff and they have to work together on a lot of issues so it is important to know who is present, when/if they'll be leaving, etc.
I work in an open office. We shuffled desks a few months ago. The lady that now sits next to me does a wholly different job than I do. She narrates everything she does all day long out loud. She is constantly talking angrily to her computer when it doesn't do what she wants it to do (user error 100% of the time) and she is unable to do anything without the help of Stanley who sits behind her. Every 5 minutes "Hey Stanley what do I do here" to which he has to stop what he is doing and turn around and help her with an entry level task. She's been doing this job for 5 years. Also Stanley may be Ghandi. I would have lost it on this lady 100 times over and he responds to her kindly with patience every single time. I can tell when she is speaking out loud wanting me or someone else to respond to her (as opposed to her regular narration of her daily tasks) and I make sure to ignore her every time. Also she will get one of our suppliers on the phone, and since we're the customer they have to be nice to her, and she will trap them into listening about her personal life in an extraordinarily unprofessional manner for like an hour. I'm not sure how much longer I can take this.
She gave a presentation at our last dept meeting that was 50 slides of just text and crappy clip art and she read the text on every slide verbatim adding nothing additional. It was torture.
The reverse of this... I've put customers "on hold" by muting them so they can't hear me and had one guy rip me apart to his wife while he waited. I let him finish and it cost him dearly but I never hinted at knowing what he was saying, it actually made me want the sale even more so I could stick it to him.

When people forget their key they use mine. This happens a good bit. At this point just walk in and say "can I use your key?" I don't need this big setup of fake small talk. "I know, I'm the worst, but see here's what happens..." Lady here's the key. Get outta here

work with a nurse who takes himself waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously. guy looks like Steve Rogers before he took the super serum (for context). Anyways, we had a rep come in and install an attachment to one of our Neuro microscopes, turned out they accidentally used a screw that was a tad too long thus preventing some of the other scope functions to work. The rep clearly made a mistake and on top of it didn't check their work after the fact. Nurse Serious got all fucking pissed off when they tried to use the microscope and it didn't work, discovered the problem and then he berated the rep for like 20 minutes. Kept going on about how they fucked up, didn't check their work, blah blah blah. I tried to explain to him that he could've got his point across without being an asshole about it but he feels 100% justified in his actions
10 years ago I would have jumped on a male nurse joke like a jackrabbit on cabbage, but nurses make damn good money and have a super tough job so kudos to anyone who does it.

Five emails and three cancelled invites to schedule a call with a client in Arizona who doesn’t understand MST is two hours behind CST.
So not to go all "Well actually", but actually CDT is only one hour ahead of MST, but Arizona doesnt adhere to MST because they dont do day light savings. I could also be an idiot and feel free to "well actually me back".
