As I understand it, he was slated to make $15 million this year with the Raiders and he can still do that with New England

 

He had $30M guaranteed over the next two seasons in Oakland before all of this, and Brown seems to be more focused on guaranteed money than anyone at the moment.

Also, it seems odd to call it "guaranteed" money when he didn't end up getting it. Seems like there should be a different word for that.
