You guys are dense. Guilty or not, it’s generally easier and less costly to settle. 100k now, or take a multi million hit over the course of the allegations and after. Usually these will include an NDA and end any further civil recourse.
There are certainly charges concerning something like that, but many would require the victim to be aware. I think he just text her that randomly after the fact, idk.
I know you’re the expert, but it seems odd that keeping it a secret until afterward makes it not a crime.
I don't know if it's less of a crime, but it's certainly less provable beyond a reasonable doubt if the victim doesn't know the crime happened.
Flashing your dick at someone is a crime, right? But just merely telling them that you did isn't. Not to get to off-track, but as you know people brag about doing illegal stuff all the time, but nonetheless you need a corpus https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corpus_delicti
I can’t imagine any woman wanting something that huge hanging over her the week of her wedding. Also, weddings are expensive.
Wouldn’t it also make sense to get all of this potentially done and over with, if it was agreed to, before her marriage starts?
man this is new territory for me but I’m on team dbl in this forthcoming argument* *but I reserve the right to change sides once this goes off the rails
The beauty of dblplay1212 is that he is so all over the place that once in a while you have no choice but to agree with him.
Meh. Antonio Brown seems to be a shitty person. And if he committed a crime, I hope he serves time. I’m not going to argue for or against any side when this is all speculation anyway. Mine was probably a bad take anyway.
I'm assuming that article talked about how he stiffed a private chef he had cater an event and then tried to "pay" him with a social media shout out.
It’s at the end of the article. He’s one of 3 or 4 people suing him for not paying the article talks about.
As someone who used to follow him on snapchat its no surprise. He went through help so fast and they would always trash him after.
"Later that afternoon, Brown found a severed salmon head, which Tedeschi was saving to use in a soup, in the freezer. According to Tedeschi, Brown accused the chef of making a mafia-style threat against his life. Brown subsequently refused to pay the $38,521.20 owed to the chef"
I think we all aspire to owning a 220 gal tank of piranha Spoiler “Goodrich’s newest client, Jeff Leung of Aqua World Pet Super Center in Pittsburgh, says he installed a 220-gallon tank at Brown’s residence and filled it with piranhas at Brown’s request in June 2018. Last December he received a call from Brown’s house, well past midnight, indicating an emergency with the fish. He arrived to a tank covered in algae due to inattention, and the inimitable odor of dead, rotting piranha. He recommended Brown discontinue the aquarium and pay him the more than $2,000 Brown owed him.”
