Or casual firearms. In retrospect, the only thing worse for all night poker sessions than alcohol with guns would be a lighted match dangling over a vat of gasoline tableside.
I think what cost him was the fact he just called Manions raise rather than 3 betting it. He reraises there instead, then gets Zhus all in followed by Manions all in he likely realizes one (likely Manion) has Aces. Labat ends up losing about 7 mil rather than 48 mil.
Oh wow, I haven't kept up with the leaderboard at all. Just saw a guy I've sat with several times here is 3rd in chips. I don't remember a ton about him but I remember the name from the room and then saw his face and it's the same guy. Neat.
Yeah Labat still had a strong stack and the way that hand went should have been able to fold that. The guy with AA must have loved to see them both with KK
Yea that's him. Not pretending to know him, just sat with him a few times. Probably when they had WSOP tournaments in town.
i know you're talking about his play, but someone in his cheering section supposedly yelled out, "love you long time" at cynn so fuck him for that, too.
When you flip, you’re expecting Labat to have KK for sure with his call. But the other guy could easily have JJ. You flip expecting to fade 4 cards and then you see that. I’d have screamed
Watching at the bar right now. Miles knocks out Cada. Damn good run from Cada, he grinded our pretty hard in the final table.
That was a really dumb call on the river by Dyer. That K killed his hand, and he should have cut his losses. Dyer had to have been thinking he had a KQ or something like that
Even if he has a mid pocket pair it nullified his hand. Pretty much the only thing he beats is missed flushes and straights. His run good/god mode got the best of him.
True, I have had a few beers and just came inside from grilling out and saw the dealer running the flop and made the post at the same time.
Agreed. Thought Cynn could have bet more and still got a call. Obviously he didn't know Miles had a straight though.
