I really have no desire to use iCloud for anything other than backing up some iPhone/iPad stuff. Anything of any real importance can easily be backed up, stored, or easily edited directly on A Google product like Drive, Photos, or their MS Office equivalents.
Thats exactly what I said. If you get more than one Apple product you’ll appreciate how well iCloud integrates with Apple stuff. Also those other products don’t really integrate well with the HEIC file format. You’ll learn.
My wife and I share the 2TB plan. All device backups, iCloud Drive usage, and a copy of all dslr raw files.
Most of the reason my iMessages are so full are from the late night nude videos that GoodForAnother sends me
For some reason, my lightning plug isn’t working on my X and I, too, backup to my iMac. There is a way to back up to iMac via WiFi, right?
Swapping out my 2015 MacBook Air, for the 2019 version. It was still working OK, but starting to lag.
have you tried multiple cables? You’re sure it’s the port on your X If so, use a toothpick to clean out the port. That’s worked for me in the past.
I currently rock the face that is pretty plain (modular). Time, weather, then 3 icons at the bottom (text, music, battery life)
Most of them are doodoo. I use Modular 90% of the time and Chronograph the rest. I like the idea of Solar but it's too limited.
Yeah, multiple cables. It may have always had problems, I use the wireless charging exclusively and never tried to plug it in til we bought a car with airplay.
Replacing the wife's 2012 macbook with a new Air for christmas. I've been team iPhone since the 3 but have no desire to use Macs as my primary computer. She got a MB for school a decade ago and now will never switch. Please review after purchase.
My Pixel 3 would have between 45-55% battery when I got home from work. iPhone 11 had 84%. Truly amazing.
Not real pleased with IOS 13 so far. My crosswords with friends app that I like to play every morning before work has crashed and doesn’t seem to be working yet. Map my run app and stavra app doesn’t seem to be working correctly either, mileage and time only calculate while the screen is on so putting it in your pocket and running is kind of out of the picture for now.
I’m having major CarPlay issues. Can’t call anyone using CarPlay. Have to use Siri or phone. my podcast app crashes as well.
CarPlay has been a major net positive for me so far. my issues have been minor - like Chrome not autocapitalizing the first word of a post and tapping and dragging on text to find a particular point to edit not zooming in on the text at all, so your thumb is always in the way of the cursor
