Anybody’s phone turn into a useless piece of shit recently? My internet has slowed to a crawl, apps freeze then freeze the whole phone, voicemails are showing up but no missed calls, calls failing. Fuck iOS 11.
I can’t figure the Bluetooth thing out. I guess I have to turn it off in the controls. I was just on a business conference call talking and my wife jumps in the car to take my daughter to school. It finds my Bluetooth connect and switches audio to the car. That’s fun to explain after she hangs up and I have to call in.
The do not disturb while driving has wrecked havoc on Apple Car play to the point that air disabled it.
No. Mine is running well If you want it off, you have to turn it off in settings. Control Panel will just disconnect from whatever it's currently connected to. You can set it to 'ask before connecting' which may resolve that issue. However that's annoying to manually connect everytime you want to. I really hate this new feature.
anyone have an 8 and use the lifeproof case having trouble with their sound on calls? Can't use my case with the 8, causes horrible sound quality during phone calls
I feel like I am on an iPhone 3 trying to run programs created for an iPhone 7. I have a 7 Plus that went from great to shit with ios11. I hard reset my phone 3-5 times a day now.

Does yours use a USB-C cable? If so, plenty of good options on Amazon. Good brands to choose from would be Anker, Aukey, Choetech.

The reviews are awful on the official apple charger. Mine has lasted almost five years, but most say theirs only last 1-2 years. Did I just get lucky?
I use a couple. The one I have @ my desk has lasted forever. The one that I bring around w me to use @ Starbucks, giving presentations @ prospective clients/associations, ect last a little more than a year if Im lucky.. It always frays at the base or tip that connects to the computer. They're just not very durable if youre moving them around a lot.
Is it possible to add downloaded music from a pc to an iphone anymore if you're subscribed to apple music? I think the last time I tried this it actually told me I had to unsubscribe from apple music for it to be possible. ridiculous
as mentioned above it shouldnt have any issues, you just might have to check the 'sync music to this device' option when you plug in your phone to computer.
Wife got me AirPods (and a Apple Watch) for my upcoming birthday... Watch won’t arrive for another couple weeks, but the AirPods came yesterday. Really impressive how seamlessly they pair within Apple environment (2 MacBooks, iPad, TV & iPhone). Plan on running the watch solo + AirPods once it arrives & leaving the phone behind as much as possible.
I was watching a movie on my iPad last night with my AirPods and was really impressed to find that the movie would pause when I removed them and resume when I put them back in. I really do like the convenience and form factor of them.
It will be a gift, so I technically did not jump anywhere. I’m kinda on the fence with it & unsure how much I will use it. At the very least, it is a significant upgrade to my Garmin watch & provides peace of mind when cycling, in case of an emergency. Apart from that, it will likely only be worn very casually, when being sans phone is appropriate. I can’t see it bumping anything above my Garmin/G-Shock/Swatch regularly.
Anyone try AirPods with a TV yet? If so, does the audio matchup with the video or is there noticeable lag?
I did, too. I bought the Nike AW3+ w/cell when it came out a couple of Fridays ago. It's not going to replace any of my luxury watches, but I do like the health tracking and it's awesome to have at games when my texts go off every other minute. Downside was that the heart rate monitor kept going off during the 4th quarter of the MSU game. I'm glad I bought it.
How do you clear all notifications on the iPad? All I see is the option to clear notifications for previous days.
I too would like to know this because it looks tacky when there’s 12 notifications and you have to clear them one at a time.
Paid off my 6+ last night so I'm fully ready to be disappointed Friday @ 3AM ET when I try to pre-order for the first time in my life.
I know Verizon is doing $300 for trade-ins on certain iPhones. Apparently you have to have an unlimited data plan to take advantage. I don't have unlimited and went through the steps to upgrade to an 8 (just to test it out) and it still said I was getting $290 for the trade-in.
