so, I've got a bunch of ringtones that show up in the "Tones" section of "On My Device" in iTunes but aren't showing up on the phone. This happening to anyone else?
Got my X today. Phone is the perfect size IMO. The swipe up is just as easy as the home button. Getting the leather case from Apple. Getting $200 for my 6s plus.

Anyone ever had success in setting up a Plex Media Server hosted from an Airport Extreme? All of my movies are on this sucker and I just want to make it easier to watch them anywhere, plex seems like the answer but no luck so far.
i went ahead and did the research myself. according to CNET, the iPad Pro is twice the cost, and is over-kill for simple day to day functions. mostly for people who want to do fancy photo and video work. im not fancy.
A guy at my previous company had the big iPad Pro for marking up engineering drawings which I thought was genius. But yes, overkill for what you're wanting to do.
For the office I have the Insignia from Best Buy. Kind of has a cool blue ring charge light. For the home, I highly recommend the Mophie. The charge light is much smaller and more dim than the others.
My 7+ was starting to hemorrhage battery. Selling it for around $500, got $300 from work for a new phone, left $400 to pay for new phone. It’s expensive no doubt but the thing is just honestly awesome. Plus it’s extremely fast, though I’m sure the iPhone 8 is similar.

I can understand it not being worth it to get the X from the 7, but I wouldn’t get an 8 in place of an X. Love the X.
Series 3, non-cell. I had a Garmin Vivoactive HR before and it kinda sucked. I like the Apple Watch more than it so far. Battery isn’t as good but the screen is great looking and more versatile. Haven’t tested it under any exercise yet.
I have it and my only complaint is the battery life. If I run or cycle I have to charge it after about 8 hours. I ran a half marathon and my battery went from 100% to about 20% in a little over 2 hours. That was gps cell and music being used all at once.

I like mine. Space gray 15” with touch bar. My main complaint is the SSDs are now soldered one the board so no more hard drive upgrades
The 8 and 8+ are really good. The X is a different phone and also really good. The Face ID thing is a breeze though. Zero complaints there.
Like others have said, worth is subjective. I had the 8+ for a few weeks before I got the X in. It's a night and day difference for me. 8 is a refined 7...X is a whole new device and I love it. The screen alone is worth the difference in $. FaceID, while not as instant as TouchID, is really solid.
I have found the face ID to be just as fast as the Finger print. I swipe up as I pick up the phone, and it opens pretty damn fast. Went from a 7 to the X, and this is much faster with respect to unlock screen, and functionality of Face recognition within apps that require sign in is just as fast, with less effort.
Have cycled through a couple of the Qi chargers. Have the Insignia in my office. Very nice to be able to charge on the quick, but the charge indicator light is too bright for nightstand use. Got the Belkin, and had a similar issue, light less blatant, but still to significant. Traded it in on the Mophie, and love it. Very faint indicator light, and the fit and finish is really nice. Feels very well made.
Can you only get the 12.9" with the iPad Pro? Looking to get one for wife. She's going to use it to play on facebook, instagram, and some games. I know nothing about iPads. Is the only way to get the Rose Gold (pink) one is to get the 10" ipad Pro?
They have a 9.7 and 10.5 bought my wife rose gold 10.5 256 gig with the pen and key board for Xmas. Obviously haven’t given to her but she has looked at them and for her that size was perfect. I got the 12.9 for comics.
I haven't purchased a damn thing for my wife for Christmas and thought I'd just throw a Hail Mary and get the Apple Watch. Is it basically just for exercising?
Any advice? I've been trying to read up on them and everything I read leads me to believe that I would be throwing money down the drain purchasing one of these things
