FWIW the flu shot this year is supposed to be effective. The effectiveness is largely dependent upon guessing which strains will be active six months ahead of time; early cases in the U.S. this year are largely those strains that the vaccine covers.

 

My favorite ate the idiots that have one anecdote as their reason for not getting one, but ignore the hundreds or thousands of cases they know of where the vaccine worked.

I smoked a flu vaccine one time.

 

I got tested for the flu a couple of weeks ago...That may have been more unpleasant than the q-tip jammed in the penis std test....They basically jam a Q-tip into your eyeball/brain through your nose, twice, one in each nostril....I swear the end of that q-tip was above my eye brows.
