reminded me of a few years ago where we could create and hold the ball all game without finishing, frustrating but against teams who play like that it is what it is, but on the whole im happy with it, Arshavin and Song played really poorly to me, it was good that Rosicky got a start and played well, and he didnt get hurt, i think we played better when Eduardo came in to give us two strikers
I really don't like having RVP as our single striker in the 4-3-3 that we have basically been playing all season. I think the formation fits us perfectly except for the lone striker position. We have nobody like Torres or Drogba that really creates for themselves. Like you said, RVP definitely plays better with another striker with him and we saw that tonight. But about the game... We held the ball very well and the passing seemed fairly crisp for the whole game. I thought Diaby, Gallas and RVP played below par, and I also thought that Arshavin seemed to be trying a little too hard to create something by himself. We looked very dangerous in the 2nd half when we brought Eduardo in for the 2 striker look. RVP, Eduardo, Arshavin, Vela and Cesc looked very good together up top.
