i really like buxton so i am voting them

 

also the weather for this weekend is pretty turrible. 40's and rain with some snow on monday. perfect weather to sit inside and watch college basketball tho

Buxton Hall is a good bet homie. That place is the best I've had in Asheville by a long shot.

Maybe this will help? Got me a little extra excited before going anyway.

 

Went with Buxton and oh boy was that a good decision. Fried chicken sandwich was exceptional.

Going to stop in Asheville on my way down to Augusta in about a month. Will be there the night of the NCAA championship game. Which bar/s should I go to?

 

that was my first night in asheville actually. bier garden is where i went for the title game last year and it was a blast. unc’s asheville branch of their alumni club has stuff there so not sure how it’ll be if unc isn’t there again

 

On this note, where's a good spot to watch The ACC chamionship that my teams not playing in?

Thanks to this thread, ate at blue dream Curry house, over easy Cafe, and Buxton hall this weekend. All were great, I think I liked Curry house the best. Wanted to go to biscuithead but the line was ridiculous when we got there

 

Love all those. Blue dream is awesome. People will say biscuit head is better but I love over easy

Spent St Patricks at LAB and walking downtown. It was just the right amount of crazy.

 

Sunny Point is among the better breakfast/lunch spots I've been to

 

Hotel or Airbnb downtown Asheville? Only going to be there the night of national championship, so just need a bed or two to stay, nothing fancy. Four Points Sheraton is only $99 a night. Is that close enough walking distance to the bars you mentioned Tobias?

 

That four points is fine, I've stayed there a bunch. Its like a 5-6 dollar Uber anywhere downtown. You won't find an Airbnb that cheap

 

There's a Holiday Inn downtown I've stayed in when I was just looking for a flophouse. There's actually a hostel in Asheville if you want to get real crunchy

Yeah. It's always expensive as fuck whenever I'm booking. Points redemption wise the Sheraton is way better too

 

Thanks for the recommendations guys. My brother travels quite a bit so seeing what type of rewards he has, but probably just gonna book the Four Points.

Yes, food. Already have had the house lined up since Feb.

 

Also, do any of those recently mentioned brunch places do reservations on the weekends? I'd imagine not but idk

 

chilis bar and grill will accommodate you no problem

 

We booked a pre set menu at gan Shan station that was amazing that I posted in here about for like 15 dudes. We were beyond wrecked and they were super accommodating and didn't care
