i used to dislike frank beamer for agreeing to the unc job in the 90's only to change his mind the night before to go back to vt

i understand it so much better now

 

Love Asheville. Blue dream curry house like Arkadin recommended is awesome. White duck tacos for lunch. Nightbell was awesome for dinner. I'm sure you'll hit all the breweries but one I liked that I hadn't heard of before was One World downtown in an alleyway. Enjoy either way.

I will be here at the end of April to see Dawes. Cant wait. will be doing Tupelo Honey for Breakfast/lunch and Curate(unless y'all have something that is better) for dinner. Biltmore wine tasting and breweries in the afternoon.

 

Sad Tobias is leaving the CLT but excited for him to be in AVL. May I be the first to suggest we trade beers on occasion.

 

One World is great. Asheville is great. Hopefully getting married there next year.

moved up sunday but the title game and constant rain hampered my desire to do much

walked down to luella's for dinner one night and got wings from favilla once. pretty good

Anyone been to a show at the Mothlight?

 

I've seen Graveyard and a few other bands there. Always a solid time, especially since it's the kinda place where the security crew doesn't seem like the type that goes home and beats off to Road House every night.

Forgot to mention the talent in Asheville was on point for early Spring.

is there a soccer bar here? idk how many follow epl but i haven't been able to find a place that is open at 10 for the games. hi-wire markets itself as a soccer bar but when i went last saturday for a 12:30 game, they weren't showing it. pretty frustrating

 

or even a good breakfast place that serves mimosas and has a tv

mission hospital is the biggest employer in asheville. they're everywhere
