Too often I hit L1 to block but do it too early and my guy goes into this wild swinging attack and gets hit. Game is very unforgiving with the health
Does hiring jomsviking really help? Also I did the berserker mission but don’t see him in my camp, does he go on raids?
they don’t help they add flavor by looking unique and telling unique stories while on the longship Bjorn is glitched at the moment he will automatically be removed from your roster and you’ll have to go back to the barracks at Ravensthorpe to add him back in almost any time you fast travel or hit a loading screen
Have to disagree on the jomsvikings impact. I’ve never had to revive one on the battlefield and my guy + 2 others that dual wield two-handed weapons I’ve watched kill a yellow named enemy by themselves. Never seen normal raiders do that and they’re normally on the ground asking for a revive midway through most raids. I do have one that seems like she doesn’t do shit except look cool. Her setup looks like link from legend of zelda. I’d give some Joms a try and watch them during raids and see who are keeper and which ones to replace.
Thanks for this. Going to try and change up my roster. The glitch in Cent I mentionted earlier got fixed with their latest patch.
Finished first alliance last night - I opted for the one without Sigurd first. Do you eventually get the ability to sail back to the old country? I never completed kill 3 reindeers quest. Also, the fucking Ubisoft store not connecting means I can't do opal quests/purchases and it's pissing me off. And are you still rolling warhammer as second weapon? I thought heavily about going sword/axe combo.
Dual wield daggers can’t understand why they don’t have one hand longswords in the game when some of the NPCS use them
Tried both of these. Prefer 2-handed ax so far. Currently rolling shield and axe. Loved dual daggers in Odyssey - might have to try out dagger/ax tonight.
So I’m in England and there’s a mission where your charisma must be 3 but I can’t find anywhere else to do flyting
I'm pretty sure you can sail back whenever you want. In the map screen there's a button that says "Atlas" or something and you can pick to sail back. I switched to warhammer as primary. Getting my Thor on. It's the most fun weapon I've used. Heavy strike --> Stomp. Secondary is Varin's Axe for the turbo chop when someone is pissing me off blocking. Been doing a lot of work with Predator bow before engaging though. The Ability that lets you mark multiple targets is the shit.
356 power 123 hours in the modern day Layla plot is absolutely bonkers in this one more so than the Atlantis shit somehow
I think everything I own is upgraded to red and maxed out upgrades. pretty easy once people start selling the ingots for 1st weapon upgrade. I'm also a side-mission whore so always have money and buy out every merchants stock or ore and leather if I have the money to. also wager $200 on every drinking game and flyghter I come across
havent found a war hammer predator bow yet but finally got dual heavy wielding and going Bone Biter and Sepulchur dual heavy axe
warhammer is in the dead center area of the southwest island in the old country. highly advise going back to get it. good perk too it increases heavy damage after every heavy finisher (i think stacks up to x10 but not sure on that) and it's also in the Raven Clan category which I prefer since I've got like 6 way of the raven upgrades in skill tree Recurve predator bow is also in the old country at a raider camp in a little water path between two islands
pretty much what I did my main goal was to finally go back and scrub Ragnar's last guard in that cave and then just hit all the stuff that isn't in the level 250+ territory
yea pearl not that surprising to spend 150+ hours on an AC game I just wasn't expecting to see those kinda numbers in the first month
I’m just not used to seeing those types of numbers personally. Longest amount of time I’ve spent in a game was MGS5 at over 120 hours I believe
Oh lets not bring online FPS games into this discussion I just checked and have 804 hours in Warzone BR Mode... not even counting normal multiplayer mode for COD
Finished the main quest and the order of the ancients stuff this morning 376 power level 128 hrs it took
I'm dual wielding 2 handed weapons now like a true viking. Slow but damn powerful. And the spin you do with two massive axes in your hands can take out entire clusters of enemies.
A bad ass spear is fast becoming one of my favorite weapons. Still pretty fast but hits hard like a two handed weapon should.
These daughters of Lerion just kick the shit out of me. also, is there a big difference in armors? I don’t want to keep leveling up raven armor if there’s something better
All of the armor can be leveled up. Not sure if the stats vary much, but the perks are different. I rocked the huntsman armor for a while before switching to the mentors set. Just go with what you like
What's the double-weapon dual spears attack? Spinning dual-heavy attack makes the most sense but doesn't seem applicable to spears. I'm still ~4 skill points away from dual-heavy perk And spears are the only thing I haven't max upgraded. Was a spear guy in Odyssey so I've avoided them bc of redundancy
Spoiler it. I’m still pretty early in the game. Rolling dual heavy axes like a fucking boss. The one that lights on fire with crits...
