So I think you have to go around and get the special blue tablets to get the weapons. I have Thor’s armor but none of the cool weapons. Just discovered the tablets and I have one. Starting those searches next. The big sword looks fucking awesome. Gotta get that.
Thors hammer not till you have all of the thor armor which means taking out all of the order. Excalibur I think you just have to be high enough level to kill the required enemies.
Well I love the game. I have mainly just stuck around Havana killing guards. I have done a few missions so I have upgraded to the wrist blades and got better swords. I do need to start advancing through the game a little bit now. (I'm playing black flag)
My favorite thing in the games until I discovered the viking songs. If you don't get hype hearing them sing "For those who fight, for those who fall!" I'm not sure we can be friends anymore.
End game spoilers Spoiler Did I miss something with Basim, he attacked me and they never explained why. Then Basim is alive and just goes back into the annimous and is that it? Is that the end of the game? I feel like I missed something and I don't know what. Destroyed the order and is that the end?
Spoiler It’s slightly more convoluted than this and involves alternate realities, but the short/easy explanation is that Basim is the reincarnation of Loki and Eivor is the reincarnation of Odin. Loki wants revenge for Odin killing Fenrir the wolf, who was Loki’s son.
I got the Eivor part, missed the Loki part. Unsatisfying end to a pretty fun game. I just hate all the animous stuff. Wish this was all just about an order of assassins through time.
Went on a couple river raids, built the new longhouse east of the main settlement. I’m only 65% done with the game so I’m just running around looking for gold, white and green spots on the map mostly.
Figured I’d save the raids until I finish the main storyline and at least find Thor’s hammer and Excalibur
That’s what I did but now that I’ve finished the story arc all the dots are bugging me. I’ll go back to the River Raids after I clear the map. (If I clear the map)

You should probably level up a bit but Excalibur you get by finding these little treasures all over the map and putting them in some stones. You get Thor’s armor by killing these demon sisters that hang out in different parts of the world. They’re hard to kill so you should level up first. I’m at like 325 now but I think around 280 is safe to go for it.
It's in the river raids. You find a piece in each of the big military locations to raid. 2 on each river.
Completely forgot about the solid DLC the AC series usually gives, as an opportunity to use Thor’s hammer, etc. It’s no Witcher DLC but there’s usually a few more hours of gameplay involved.
I hope there's more, even if it's more rivers to raid. I already finished all 3 and go the armor set, also upgraded new viking hall. Only reason for me to do anymore river raids right now would be ship decorations since you can't use the supplies for anything else.
I started river raids for the St George armor and got one piece but then my ship wouldn’t hold any more foreign supplies so I had to go home. I haven’t been back but I think it resets now so I’ll have to start over again.
It doesn't reset. And your foreign goods build up every time you go back home so you can keep adding to your stores to upgrade ship and viking hall. You'll need lvl 2 vikings most to get the final 2 pieces
The order I went for upgrades was.. fully upgrade cargo hold of ship first, then fully upgrade viking hall (didn't care about ship decorations). Can't remember if I had lvl 2 or 3 vikings when I went after the last two pieces.
Should I wait until I finish the storyline? I’m only like a 67 level. Found where to get my first piece of Thor armor but I haven’t killed any of the daughters to get it yet.
Been playing it like Ghosts and trying to knock out every dot around me so it’s taking forever. Still fun though
I dont see why you would need to wait. If you're high enough level to do it, go for it. If nothing else it's another way to level up and get items.
It's basically always through the alliance map. I feel like 99% of the story progression starts there.
Finally making time to get back in. Broke level 200. Made the switch to dual spears, which is tight. The only issue is fighting the big order members with them because they don't shield break at all.
Just started Valhalla and getting into it. Is there not an option for alternate button configurations? Odyssey had a secondary button scheme that I much preferred but its doesn't seem like Valhalla has it. I have tried to customize the button mapping but not sure its as fluid as it should be.
AC 3 was easily my least favorite of them all. Story felt pretty bland and while the setting had potential it didnt offer alot of exploration. I should go back some day and play it again to see if my feelings change.
I don't know what I did but a minute after getting off the boat in Boston a bunch of soldiers spawned and started attacking me I got on top of a building and started sniping them. They just kept spawning. That was enough for one day.
This, it was such a build up with the great marketing campaign and being the first one after ezio I was pumped. Unfortunately it quickly felt stale and bland.
I’m actually stuck on Valhalla. I’m a 120 and I’m to the Vinland portion of the story which is 160 and not sure what to do
