I have had that quest for a little while but not totally sure how to activate it. I don’t see Vinland listed anywhere, may have to look more next time I am on.
The Vinland story arc is activated through Randvi. It’s basically another territory you have to pledge to on the alliance map.
Right, I’ve not been able to find. athough I don’t think I’ve tried to look outside of the territory that we are in yet. So that’s probably why
When do I get side missions? I only see one courier mission and it won’t let me talk to the guy. Weird.
Seriously when do side missions pop up on AC3? I'm already on Sequence 4 and there has only been one courier mission that I was finally able to do. The legend shows there will be others but none have been available yet.
If I remember correctly I think this was one of the biggest reasons I disliked this game, there is almost nothing to do outside of the main story. Again, its been a long time but I remember being so bored with the game and lacking any incentive to wander around.
I remember there being some minor side missions but not anything particularly interesting that enhanced the enjoyment of the game at all. Definitely wasn’t much to do outside the main story besides running around tomahawking red coats a half dozen or so at a time.
This is disappointing. I've ran all around thinking some areas just need to be discovered for stuff to pop up but nope. I've synchronized all the high points.
Look up some walkthroughs to find out how to do the side stuff if you are dead set on doing them. You’re honestly better off just doing the main story and moving on to the next game though.
Anyone playing the new dlc? I haven’t finished the main story but the new stuff is getting good reviews.
Just finished it up - was pretty fun. Not very challenging but I’m at max power and Thor’s hammer fucks shit up.
Extremely annoying, they pushed an update to the game and its caused my custom controls setup to be all messed up. Had to switch things around in order to initiate conversation or actions.
I'm just thankful this past update fixed my Children of Anglia bug so I was able to 100% finally. Also, just Gold medaled the Raven trial on the first try, that was easy. Did not jump into the Bear or Wolf trial yet. As for the DLC, it was enjoyable, but as Antwone said, not challenging when maxed out power already. Love the new spear you get from beating "insert bosses name here".
So I finished the main story for AC3. Seemed short. It says I still have a main story mission though. I’m guessing it’s an epilogue thing. Odyssey is next I think.
Looks like I have this George Washington DLC and Liberation game with AC3 I haven't played yet. Haven’t played Odyssey and Valhalla. I only played a little of the first one but I don't think I can get that on PS4?
So the George Washington DLC doesn’t save… Also I got the blue screen of death several times. Rage quit and will be starting Odyssey.
So Odyssey is pretty damn good so far. It looks amazing. Seems to play smoothly. A lot of good exploring going on by me.
This x1000. I had to take a break for a bit at one point, then came back and just worked to finish it. Had alot of fun at times though, lost a sense of the overall story at points toward the end though.
- Artificial leveling systems for main story missions that make you do way too many side missions. - Basically trying to increase the length of the game
3 Issues I had with the game. And let me say that I enjoyed the experience overall, I put alot of time into the game and generally enjoyed it. 1) the side missions and exploring was all the exact same. Rinse and repeat of clearing out enemy camps, locating someone or other general tasks. There was almost no variety in what you were doing from area to area. 2) The leveling system seemed completely pointless to me at times, as you leveled up so did every single enemy. Outside of getting new abilities it never felt like you were making any progress or getting any stronger. Even in areas that had a lower listed leveling range, the enemies were always around the same level as you. 3) The story seemed to get very convoluted towards the end, both the Odyssey quest and the present day. I found myself pretty confused on what everything meant or how it tied into the experience. Granted, this could have been partly my fault as I could be distracted at times. But still, things got pretty crazy at the end. Honestly, I think the best storyline overall was the one that involved Cassandra finding her love and starting her family. Really enjoyed that arc and thought it had a good payoff.
I’m enjoying hunting these cultists down. It’s like the old searching for clues and find the murderer from one of the older games.
Valhalla is just too damn much running around imo idk maybe having the Adrestia just made odyssey feel less overwhelming
