Who gives a shit? It's DLC add-on shit. If it were built into the mains storyline, that would be one things...but being outraged over something you don't even have to experience in the game is stupid. Is it money-grabbing pandering? Sure. Is that the way of basically every game studio in existence now? Also yes.
According to multiple insiders everything on this list except for multiple cities and the AC1 remake seems to be true I’ve been replaying the Ezio collection and I really want the old formula to come back it’s better
Two more AC games in development besides Mirage. Sounds like the maps are going to be smaller with more focus on gameplay and social stealth I hope

Means I need to hop back into Valhalla soon. Left off after I made it to England and was completing synchronization points
I thought Valhalla was an outstanding game. After getting burnt out after Odyssey I was pleasantly surprised by the new mechanics of Valhalla. Although I checked out on it once the weird Valhalla stuff happened after the main story. I also never touched the DLC that skewed way too fantasy for me.
Valhalla was a cool little romp through a cool part of history but it’s not an AC game to me Odyssey and Valhalla really disappointed me in that regard they felt like completely different IPs. I want an AC game to feel like AC
Yeah, turning up the sneak requirements/mechanics and increasing/improving the assassinations would be nice.
I like the old AC combat better than the newer ones. But, I also hate sneaking around, lol. I don’t have patience for those missions.
This account has leaked previous Ubi games and posted the image of Basim that Ubi is using to promote Mirage before any info came out
It’ll probably be 2027 but I’m hyped for the Japanese one; especially if they show a return to early day gameplay in the upcoming one.
word from insiders who knew about Mirage months ago is Japan AC in 2024 and the Project Hexe game in 2026
Reading some of the responses whining about feudal Japan and ancient China being the same reminds me how little the common folk understand about history.
I just hope it doesn’t take 100s of hours to beat. For me: Origins took 60 hours Odyssey took 117 hours Valhalla I’m like 10 hours in but took an extended break
The new ones are fun. But I prefer the smaller, a bit more linear, of the older ones. I’m also in the minority, most likely, but I liked the old fighting style. at least it might be fun for a switch up. Past 3 games have been very similar to each other.
I have enjoyed the recent games alot more than I anticipated that I would. I generally like the RPG-lite style they have adopted, even if its not necessarily true to the original concept of the games. My major gripe has been with the overall stories having almost not direct correlation to actual Assassins Creed. Origins was cool as a concept on how they were formed, Odyssey was a little more strange from a story/assassins standpoint. Valhalla had almost nothing assassins related and the coolest parts were finding the abandoned hideouts. Hoping theres a better shift back to being a true assassin and their lore.
Question on that, if I own it for PS4 but now have a PS5, will the PS5 upscale it or would I need to download a PS5 version? I've got the hardcopy
You can play the PS4 disk but it’ll be PS4 quality. You’d need the PS5 version for the next gen graphics and whatnot
Origins was great, but once you've finished the main story, and/or DLC, there's not much left other than finding all the locations/tablets/etc... I like how Odyssey has basically unlimited side missions. It's repetitive as hell, but I like killing for money.
One thing I like about Vahalla is they brought back instant stealth kills. No more gate keeping for levels
