We’re 20-1-3 at home this year in all competitions. Didn’t realize is was that good. Felt like we sucked at home for a while at the beginning of the year.

Talk about a home field advantage.

I’m not gonna put that negative energy into the world with United. They aren’t the Falcons, Braves, et al. These guys know how to win big games. Whether they win tonight is a different story, but they’ve earned the right to say they’ve proven to us they aren’t subject to the Atlanta curse.

 

Definitely agree with you. United has shown the ability to step up in the big games. I still try not to get my hopes up. Been burned too many times in my sports fandom.

 

Getting burned is part of being a fan though. Of any team in any city. If they lose I’ll be pissed, but I won’t attribute it to any atlanta style choke. Sometimes your team just loses, even if they’re not supposed to.
