he 100% needed to move up and his replacement (Gutman who was loaned out to RB last year) is probably an upgrade in the short term
jumped all over Ga Revolution in this friendly with 3 goals in the first 10 minutes before tapering off a bit, into the second 45 now with backups and academy products taking the pitch Araujo/Gutman/Rossetto looked particularly active, still missing a handful of starters with intl duty
We really just need depth pieces at this point, particularly in the attack. The starting 11 (assuming Almada) is probably set and looks pretty strong across the board. It's nice coming into the season with the same coaching staff and largely the same roster for once.
So who is going to take Bello's roster spot? Gutman was already on the roster before he was dealt, right? I'd imagine this means we have some Garber Bucks to play with or some shit?
I know, but I thought we had already completed the transaction that brought him back onto the roster before Bello left. I'm not sure how else to say this any more clearly.
ahhhhhhhhhhh, read that as you asking who's taking over for him at LB, don't know specifically but we've got a spot or two open crossed wires
yeah I have a tendency to read things too quickly, particularly in an informal setting like a message board while trying to multitask with work, was so confused about the whole exchange
Last friendly coming up, was hoping to see some of the names that had been missing the last couple of weeks but no luck Almada's getting his visa sorted, Sosa's still recovering from offseason surgery, Moreno and Lennon picked up knocks and haven't been available, Franco's out in the opener due to his red card in the playoffs so I guess that's why he's not here. Gonna be an interesting first couple of weeks.
Dwyer being from a place called Cuckfield seems pretty appropriate anyway, assuming this is a supplemental spot
Wild that this will be the first time we've opened at the Benz, won't be anything close to full strength but a closer to 100% Josef, second your Araujo, and Ozzie being an actual option to fill in for Sosa can go a long way. Think there's a chance we get Moreno out there too.
Not watching either atm, but on the highlight vid it looked like he may have tweaked a hamstring when he scored his goal.
