Hilarious to pull a point out of that. I’ll take it. What could have easily been a D-L the past two matches ended up being a W-D
and here I was busy rationalizing that at least we were one game closer to our full lineup, looks like Sosa came in late too
Pathetic effort first half, Guz should have done better on their goal. Good ATL crowd here in Charlotte though.
We try to dribble out of three defenders, but won’t dribble and take wide open spaces. We just have 10 players standing watching the player with the ball unless we are in the final third already. This team has the tactical level of a high school team it’s pathetic.
That game was beyond frustrating. They were down a man the last 15 minutes and 8 minutes of stoppage time and still couldn’t get a goal. The team just seemed apathetic all game.
Not that I noticed. It seemed like they were still pressing at least until the last few minutes of stoppage time.
I thought the only relief for an injured player was roster spot relief, but not financial. I remembered that discussion from last year when Hyndman went down. Either way. We'll see what happens. I would love to add Hoppe and use him as a striker. Josef isn't going to be what we want him to be anymore.
Found this: Clubs are only able to receive Salary Budget relief (paid out of the club's own pocket) for a season-ending injury under the following parameters: The injured player must be earning at least $100,000 per annum. The injured player must have suffered the season-ending injury prior to the close of the Primary Transfer Window and the new player must be acquired as of such date. The replacement player may earn up to $250,000 but not more than the player who suffered the season-ending injury. The replacement player’s charge will be billed back to the club. Clubs will only be allowed to sign one such replacement player per MLS League Season. If the injured player occupies an international roster slot on the Senior Roster, the replacement player may also be an International Player. So as long as the new GK makes $250k or less, we're fine. Should easily be able to replace with Cohen then if that's what they want to do.
