Garza probably spends more money per year on protein from the GNC store at his local mall than he actually earns.
I'd bet he returns home vs Houston. Takes a couple of weeks to get your training legs back after 5 weeks of not doing anything.
The more I watch him, the more I'm amazed at Villalba's ability to disappear on the right. It's like Mears plays RM and RB, and Villalba plays in the middle of the ST/CAM/RM triangle.
yea thats good to get Gressel out now Yellow and too many turnovers....lets see if its Carmona or Mccann who advances up
What makes this third goal even worse, like one last week, is that it's not just a case of central defenders getting sucked up without cover behind, it's both of them getting sucked up to the same fucking place with no cover behind. Just from memory it also seems like both were GP going over to the right side from his area.
Thought the officiating early really hurt us. Midfield's lack of ability to hold possession (especially Gressel and even Miggy) hurt our chances so badly. And abundantly clear that Kenwyn doesn't fit. Either use him differently or play Vasquez or Villalba up top until Josef is back.
Martinez... Wtf happened to him? He was literally the most electric player in the MLS, leading in goals, leaves for a Venezuela national team game. Comes back, and the only thing we hear is "out 4-6 weeks" like 6 (or 7? I'm not about to count) weeks ago. I know he's been running and hit the practice field last week, but losing players to injuries in non-club affiliated games games sucks.
