This will make the Vancouver social media team look a lot smarter if they hold on. Pardon the cliche, but this is a classic case of under-selling and over-delivering. At least that's what it seems like to me.

Team is night and day home and away. The consistency is definitely possession, but we just can't defend at all on the road.

Mears is by far my least favorite starter.

 

That was an embarrassing amount of ball watching from our defense.

 

This was prophetic considering their goal started with him needlessly passing the ball to them while trying to keep it in bounds.

And then of course he trotted back to position while they countered.

 

Martinez and Almiron goals were silly good

 

This team is a lot of fun to watch when they get confident in their attack. Defensively, they aren't great, but they play an exciting style of soccer.

Our two most recent free kicks are like the takers and everyone else have two very different ideas of what the plan is.

 

Set pieces and Mears will keep this team from reaching its potential.

Didn't see the first half. The second half was a pretty mixed bag of good and bad play. When they get forward, this team can really attack and create. But they can be pretty poop everywhere else at times.

 

it's frustrating. One second we make a brilliant offensive run and then the next we basically gift a goal.
