Homage (really comfy clothing company out of Columbus) is having a sale this weekend for $10 t shirts and saw this Atlanta United one. https://www.homage.com/collections/sale?utm_campaign=08.30.17+$10+Sale+Tees++(JBKwPU)&_ke=c2hhdW4ucmljaGFyZHMzNEBnbWFpbC5jb20=&utm_content=shop&utm_source=HOMAGE+Newsletter,+Not+Suppressed+&+Bounced&utm_medium=email Edit: doesn't seem to have linked directly to that shirt but it's on the first page of the sale and looks like they have XS-3X
Never had a shirt company consistently have their shirts continue to shrink over time like theirs. Their sleeves are cut between where normal men and women shirts are. I would generally buy a shirt size larger than you normally do. https://www.homage.com/products/atlanta-united
Wow. I checked literally within a minute before I posted that. It had other shirts listed with less availability
I love Homage. I paid $32 for mine and would do it again. Too bad they mostly only have Midwest teams.
Yeah tons of Ohio related stuff and much smaller selection for anything else. They've only got 4 stores I think. 1 in Cleveland, 1 in Cincy and 2 in Columbus. Hope they continue to expand because I really like their stuff
5 ATLiens GOALKEEPERS: Justin Garces (Atlanta United FC; Miami, Fla.), DEFENDERS: Carlos Asensio (Atlanta United FC; Roswell, Ga.), George Bello (Atlanta United FC, Douglassville, Ga.) MIDFIELDERS: Chris Goslin (Atlanta United FC; Locust Grove, Ga.), Indiana Vassilev (Unattached; Savannah, Ga.) FORWARDS: Andrew Carleton (Atlanta United FC; Powder Springs, Ga.),
It's been sooooo long from our last game. Christ I thought we were playing at least 3x since our last game
So I had a ticket to the game. Then irma happened and my source's son had to evacuate from ga southern. Now he's going in my place. Oof.
For me it's three things: 1) It looks dark 2) The field looks like shit 3) It comes off as cavernous and empty Especially on the third point it's so different than Bobby Dodd. The field level suites with video boards above them and then the retracted stands in the corner that are covered with branding just take up too much space where you'd expect to see people. Hopefully it'll look better once the turf settles and the roof opens.
It looked hazy on the field from the TV broadcast, like they had set off a fuckton of pyrotechnics beforehand but it never cleared. Also, for those buds who went there, how was exiting the stadium? I was reading that after the GT - Tenn game, it was a logistical nightmare trying to exit the stadium alone.
That's exactly what happened. Pyro and fireworks. I didn't have a problem getting out. It was crowded and took a few minutes but wasn't bad at all. Remember for soccer the stadium only holds ~44k and not 71k for football.
Leaving wasn't bad at all, probably due to only 45k vs 70k like others have mentioned. Fans leaving during the final 10-15 minutes helped as well. The weirdest part leaving the stadium were the employees telling all fans to empty their drinks, be it beer/liquor or a soda/water. They forced people to pour out their Cokes into drains by the exits which led to more of a bottleneck as you walked outside (Gate 4 in this instance). My brother and I thought that was very odd and probably a misunderstanding of the "No drinks outside the stadium" rule more than anything. Overall the stadium was awesome except for the stupid pregame fireworks that created a hazy view from my seat in 118 during the first 30-35 minutes. We also can't see the goaline near us so when LGP scored it takes a second to react but otherwise the sight lines aren't something to complain about too much.
Yeah, certainly seemed like an isolated incident. Just found it to be so weird walking out of the stadium.
My one thing about yesterday it seemed like the atmosphere was completely different thanks Bobby Dodd. A ton of people sitting the whole game and generally not cheering. Didn't see that happen at BDS.
