Yea that was a fun time, always better when the top deck is opened up. Elliott St and Smoke Ring were packed from Noon till ppl started heading into MBS. Atmosphere around there is on the up and up.
Kinda surprised they are only going to open the upper deck 4x this season. Figure they could do it more
Yeah they could probably bring in more than enough every home game since they're all on the weekend except for one.
I imagine it'll be in the next month or so, once teams start announcing their preseason plans for next year
Count de Monet and I were at Elliott St from 12:45-2:15 yesterday and I’d agree with that assessment. Sounded like they’d be having music outside their front door at all the games so it will just add to the atmosphere. It was fun to check out the Gulch from a distance while walking from the Garnett Marta station but unless I was going with a large group I’d prefer Smoke Ring/Elliott St to grab something eat/drink before the game.
