sold my tickets today for tonight's show. can't really take the night off because of tax season Spoiler and bc someone paid my ass $400 each for 2 side floor seats in the ~14th row
David Blaine 7/13 @ Moody Theater Tix on sale at 10am today May buy a couple and end up selling. Shows like that I feel like will sell out quick and have a high demand
Hate their fees. giving them $80 off the top kinda hurt. But it's tax season and I honestly would have had a lot of trouble meeting up with someone today to exchange so the convenience I didn't mind.
Weather looks good this weekend so gonna head out to Jester King. May try to hit up Pieous Pizza as well.
Attempting to go to this titos 20th party at ACL. Free with RSVP but it'll probably fill up real fast. And I don't know if they'll accept Johnny Dakota as my "titos contact"
Dammit I am gonna have to move downtown when we open our new office in August :( No more living in a huge place for cheap. Fuuuuuuuck.
Not where I am currently living anyway (360 and 2222). I should probably just bite the bullet and get a place down there. I can afford it I just really love having a bunch of extra money every month since I DON'T pay insane rent, especially for how nice my place is. That hill country view
some solid places in the 704 for ~$900-1100 for 650-900sqft. Never thought to get a realtor just for renting apartments (bc of internet and stuff) but the GF got a RE agent that found some great spots and most had random good specials like first month free or newly renovated places, that you wouldn't find/know about just by going to apartment.com etc. Just got done moving her this weekend from E.River/Wickersham to right behind Whip In. Kinda love Travis Heights now. real solid neighborhood feel and close to everything for decent prices. Think she's paying $1100/mo, first month free, renovated right before move in, etc. gave me the itch to live by myself again instead of possibly living in a 3/3.
If I didn't have to start working in the heart of downtown I would absolutely stay out here. I love it
roommate just bought a place in Edgewick off Parker/Oltorf just east of 35. pretty cool neighborhood setup and the houses are really tight. master bed has a man cave attached to it on one side and a home office on the other. Decent little fenced in yards. 1-car garage. okay guest bed/bath. Think the 2b / 1400sqft go for low 300s. not a bad price for that location. think the schools it's zoned for aren't great though
I'm gonna have to move out of 78704 up to north Austin because my new job's in Cedar Park and I can't fucking handle that commute
area around the domain is pretty happening these days and would be a relatively easy commute to cedar park. or we could be neighbors and hang out at chilis and stuff
Speaking of bar and grill chains... Been two times recently where a group of guys are going to eat bar food and drink beer to watch sports. (Madness and playoffs last weekend). Both times the original place has too long of a wait and needs audible. ***i was not a part of the audible process either time*** the two backup locations have been: Hooters on SoFi and Buffalo Wild Wings down by Stassney. Aside from the fact that common sense says these two establishments aren't good... these two locations may be the worst I've been to in America. And two of the most frustrating and awful dining experiences of my life
maybe they'll drop their fuckin prices a little still... places like Sprouts or Central Market aren't any cheaper. There's just a very small amount of them (here at least) and they're in places that Whole foods isn't.
Nice! I live right behind the Indeed building on 2222. Looks like a pretty awesome office. I came over from Oracle so in every sense its completely night and day difference from anything I have ever experienced. Amazing company to work for. The perks etc are ridiculous and the overall environment is super positive. I really can't say enough good things about it. Definitely worth looking into though I know Indeed is a great spot as well. Feel free to PM me if you want some more info. Glad to help.
Is that company too big for you to know everyone that works there? 24yo chick used to hangout with our crew all the time started working there last year. Spoiler she'll S your D and she's cute
here to rep the domain. I work at Dogwood there, so if you want comped drinks... Its where the money is now in austin
Girl I went out with in Domain a few months ago told me a few places (not just rose room) have "dress codes"... true?
