I'm renting out the entire apt so not really a big deal on this space vs that space i would assume they want to use kitchen. most likely will put the XB1 in the closet with everything else I don't want touched and then put FireTV in the living room since the bedroom TV is smart anyways. Kinda feel like that's necessary since there's no cable and I'm charging a high price
Reading the LA times this AM, their writer didn't think any CA cities will make it close to winning the Amazon bid, because they won't play ball in terms of $$$ kickbacks.
Didn't know if any of you listened to sports talk radio but I just heard about this. Super sad. http://www.mystatesman.com/sports/l...ality-sean-adams-dies/Of8vPne9DwYZzfR3MZGl8H/
i didnt listen religiously or anything, since it was mostly horn dribble, but i knew his voice, and it is sad
He was always at the Cover 3 off of Anderson. In fact I saw him as I was walking out maybe 2 days before his heart attack.
C3 allotment sold out in less than 15 seconds. multiple people at my office tried and were hitting F5 like crazy so we know exactly when it started. Pleb sale today on ACL website couldn't get through to even try bc the site was a time out machine. oh well
bee caves was a nightmare all the way from Trader Joes to 360. sucks they are really taking their time in making middle turn lane on that road
He was rear ended on 360, he went off road, the car that hit him spun out into the intersection. The guy was trying to restart his car and move it out of the intersection and a truck didn't see him. Pulverized the guy going 60. Brad witnessed it all from the side of the road.
Thank god I only take 620 to Parmer and even that’s bad enough The horror stories of people even heading north from Mueller area is alarming
remember, Austin was built around that place as it was the airport access into and out of that place was essential to the infrastructure of the city...... and this is what they built
Koenig/2222 was supposed to be an east west highway connecting 35 to 620 I believe but Allandale neighborhood put up a big fight for years
Hey, the new Mopac northbound tunnel is supposed to open up this weekend, so long as we don't get any rain its raining
I'm okay with the rain this weekend since I need to save money and energy for ACL next week. Who's going Weekend 1? Tex if you still need a place to crash for weekend 2 I can probably hook you up on saturday night since I may do saturday both weekends. Assuming I don't get booked with AirBNB. Will let you know closer to time
Thanks bud but everything fell through so I bought Texas v OU tickets. Kinda bummed I'll be missing ACL this year but oh well.
I'll be the crazy old man at weekend one raging against the machine reminding everyone it used to be better
So official TMB Austin social hour somewhere for MNF vikings-bears on 10/9 when our Denver friend George Costanza is in town? I'm down for whatever place yall wanna go as long as it's not north of the domain.
I posted this in the Music Fest thread but I guess in here also works. Levitation Fest will be at different venues throughout Austin this year. Ty Segall, Parquet Courts, and A Giant Dog have been announced for Stubb's so far.
our crew was talking about it last night it's concert season around here. every year from mid-september to january there's so much to do. Who's going to Run The Jewels @ stubbs next Friday?
Franklin's is closed Monday. Cock suckers. Give me bbq places to eat. I'll be ubering from airport at like 6pm. Staying in North Austin near a client but can take an Uber there after I eat watch MNF. I've been a few places south of the lake last time I was there....don't have a huge preference r
Stiles Switch is in North Central Austin and has good BBQ. Terry Black's is South Austin. A lot of the places aren't open for dinner but these two are.
