Yea that makes it way too difficult to judge. Lots of DJ/EDM shows at various venues would be super high up there. Also stuff like SXSW Sat/Sun at basically every bar on 6th/rainey/east.
Developer bought the building and locked them out. :( Real Music has moved all their shows to Vulcan and The Parish. They’re not bad venues, but it’s not the same
I honestly never went to Kingdom. Not my scene with the deep house untss untss hood b. goode anyone else going to first thursday tomorrow? i'm pretty sure i'm goin.
Just shot over to Franklins for only a 20 minute wait. I had never been before. All they had was brisket and sausage. The lean brisket was perfect.
Took a chick to Sophias last night. Had already planned it otherwise I'd have tried to come meet up. Taking a different girl to Odd Duck tonight.
go to gibson bar afterwards. great drinks also about 50 yards from my apartment. it's my go-to for closing
Agreed. Haven’t been there in awhile now that I live north. Is Luke’s still there? Such a good burger.
yessir. that whole menu is great. so is the brunch menu. always have a specialty omelet that's awesome
i'm down. i think the Bevo stuff is supposed to start 6 hours before kickoff every weekend so i'm not gonna be in hurry to get anywhere until 2:30 for AU-LSU
they raised their mimosa prices from $1 to $2 to $5 in the course of the last year. i don't think they realized that hoards of hot girls in yoga pants went there every sunday to have 10 mimosas on a broke chick budget. it's killed the one on south lamar. the brunch buffet is meh as can be.
Bumped it to $2 during football season last year. Everyone was still okay with it. Bumped it to $5 this spring. Place isn’t barren
