thanks for the extra info. im days late to the story and i couldn’t find anywhere discussing the context beyond him being suspended for a sex tape. what a wild situation
There really isn't much of anything beyond the suspended twitter account posting videos/allegations snd message boards trying to say its not true.
People talk about the amazing cuisine that is inside. Baffles me. I mean, I love a Wa-Wa Sandwich but I'm not going to champion it as a delicacy Thank you for overshadowing our student indecencies with your admin wide cover-up of rape
"Briles is the most Christian man I've ever met" -Hugh typing somewhere as AU staff wrestle his phone away from him
Because wouldn't you like to get a folding chair or a soccer ball or a pound of fudge while you gas up your F-150 Raptor at one of 80 gas pumps
The hype ruins it. If you stumble upon it on a road trip, you'd probably think it's great. It's got everything you could want for a pit stop.
I’ll stop at one if it’s convenient and on the route. Wouldn’t make any special stops to go to one either. I’ll just toss this in. Big fan of a lot of the newer gas stations along interstates having little fenced in dog parks.
Bucees is one of those weird things that southerners hype up for no reason Kind of like SEC football and Publix
I do not understand Bucee's advertising strategy of 43 million billboards. There is a billboard where I live and the closest one is almost 200 miles away. I bet they easily have 50 within 20 miles of each location
You started off strong, but now we have to fight to the death in a Publix parking lot. Tell me where, I'm hungry for a Pub Chix Sub and eager to kill
It's good for a gas station sandwich but it's like $12 and any decent BBQ restaurant will have a much better one for the same price.
Buccees is a nice gas station but there is a whole subsection of the internet that has made liking Buccees a part of their personality. I find that off-putting.
We have a family on our travel soccer team that is psycho about it. They are wear the pj’s everywhere.
I live down Wire Rd on the edge of Auburn and it’s by my house. My food options close by are there and gas station fried chicken.
I see people in Bucees tshirts. Aside from the free advertising, how is a gas station a part of your identity?
The beef jerky is fucking legit. Worth the stop alone. Not the bagged shit, the sliced stuff behind the counter.
I went to Buccees for the first time a few years ago and we thought it was an awesome first experience. After that, each visit was just a really big gas station with nice bathrooms and a lot of pumps.
That's fair. I'm just saying that glorifying their food says more about your other options than their food. I agree it beats a McDonald's off the interstate so being able to stop at one for gas on a trip is a plus but I'm not seeking it out for a meal.
