Does Momma G's even have locations outside their local Auburn ones? Seems they've pretty much closed everything outside of Alabama
They had one in Charleston, SC that closed like a week after I moved here. Did a double take when I first saw it. Seemed like a random place to try to open one.
I know they had one in Atlanta, but I never went. Similar to water and New York bagels, the steam/water in Auburn Alabama is tough to replicate the steamed nachos & sandwiches outside of Lee County
A friend of mine had the franchise rights for ATL or the burbs but never ended up exercising it cause they couldn’t find the right location(s). Probably a good move on his part if all of the locations outside Auburn have pretty much closed
Props to the owners for selling the franchise rights, but just amazing someone thought that place could be a national chain
Man, I forgot about that swill. It was tiger something and would send you to the moon for a couple bucks a pitcher.
I’m sure it was bad. Between her and what Livvy Dunne had to put up with, the stalking they dealt with is crazy. That sucks to read about her teammates, but I’m also not shocked to hear girls at auburn were jealous of a girl getting opportunities like DWTS, the met gala, etc. They’re going to have their side of the story too.
Hilarious they are acting like the money is in a Scrooge McDuck vault where Hugh can just go grab cash.
I hope the collective gave her and her fellow pointless sports like baseball and women's basketball virtually nothing.
Coach is weird but not moronic. Best I can tell he’s a British guy who went to Clemson so the weird part tracks
I remember pondering if I should have responded to that but I had a hunch I wouldn’t be able to convince him that Ancient Greeks didn’t practice a form paganism.
If traveling somewhere a half dozen times make me British does that mean I’m a Floridian as well? Gross.
His ability to hire better assistants than Malzahn has been surprising. It would be hard to identify the weak recruiters on his staff. He lost Garrett to the NFL, promoted a GA, and didn’t miss a beat
It’s amazing what happens when you hire a halfway competent coach and have the full backing of your boosters and fanbase
It definitely feels weird watching the program move in the right direction for once. Feels like they’ve always had to compensate for some stragglers
