He’s stuck in some fantasy world where he can’t comprehend being accountable for losing. It must be some terrible bad luck.
Hypothetically losing to a hugh freeze team 9 out of ten times is pretty embarrassing. Wonder if this will be enough to boot pittman
They said, “you just lost to Cal and Arky.” I said, and it’s actually very smart what I said, I told them, “we’d beat those guys 9 times out of 10.”
Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell ya something. We were out there, folks, and we had the most beautiful, the most perfect game plan. I mean, nobody’s ever seen anything like it—people are talking about it, the experts are talking about it. Believe me, we could have beaten those teams 9 times out of 10. Easy. It was flawless. Absolutely flawless. But—and it's a big but—the players? They didn’t execute, folks. They didn’t make it happen. I drew up the greatest offensive plays anyone’s ever seen. Legendary. People are calling it a masterpiece. But the players? They just didn’t show up. It’s sad, really. We had the whole thing in the palm of our hands. If they had just followed through—just a little bit—we would’ve crushed them. But they missed blocks, dropped passes, couldn’t read the defense. They let us down, plain and simple. You saw it, I saw it. We all know it. So, look, when we play them again—and we will—I guarantee you, with my play calling, we’ll wipe the floor with 'em. No question about it. But the players? They’ve got to step it up. I can only do so much, folks. The strategy was perfect. Absolutely perfect. It's the execution that was a disaster!
Big fan of not having a cohesive offensive game plan and tons of turn overs and blaming it on bad luck. He probably should’ve just rolled with a rumor that he got shot in the ear before the game.
The most "Auburn thing" ever would actually be to BEAT Oklahoma this weekend and then lose four straight to UGA, Missouri, Kentucky, Vandy, before somehow beating Texas A&M and then playing the game of their life against Bama in Tuscaloosa but still losing by 3 TDs since it's in T-Town not Auburn and then to head into 2025 thinking they're national title contenders because the Mountain West Third Team All Conference QB transfers in
We currently have posters on home boards hyping up our offensive and defensive metrics. Little do they know, we haven't played a single team that will be bowl eligible in 2024.
