Yeah but those 11-1 will most likely be a 4 seed at oregon and you get blown the fuck out like the past times you got in
Jimmy Lake is going to scare Cristobal out of the conference. I will not field any questions on this matter. Thank you.
best in terms of desirability or best in terms of the ability to win a natty? I know about 2010, but going forward I think Oregon has a better shot to win a natty. Auburn is what the fifth or sixth best job in our conference now? Probably fourth in the division right now? That’s tough but if you’re talking about desirability that buyout money is sweet
I mean you’re fourth in the west, not sure how that’s debatable. And Georgia and Florida are far better jobs sooooo
Auburn fans thinking their job is more desirable than the Georgia job is how you end up with Gene Chizik and Gus Malzahn
Strange, I mean the last 15 years has been pretty good to Auburn as a ND fan I’d gladly trade for Auburns run Georgia got them recruiting titles though, that means something I guess
Random Auburn fans on the internet or a bunch of lists created not knowing why we are arguing? https://www.google.com/amp/s/athlonsports.com/college-football/ranking-all-130-college-football-coaching-jobs-2019?amp https://www.google.com/amp/s/247spo...ida-Texas-Oklahoma-Georgia-USC-148917540/Amp/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sa...otball/espn-ranks-top-head-coaching-jobs/amp/
That doesn’t make it a better job. Look I hate Georgia. But it’s objectively a better job in an easier division and they don’t play second fiddle in their own state.
I mean, we've have had top 2-3 teams in every decade since the 80s. Our peaks are high and our valleys are low, probably lower than most. We're probably behind UF and UGA. But we aren't distant
Less than a couple hours I’m already looking at the pate count and saying to myself “yeah, I’ll catch up when Twitter tells me they’ve hired freeze”
It was a joke, see my next post. Clemson has been average at best, probably more like mediocre for most of it's history and now considered a "top job" b/c of one coach. Outside maybe 5 elite jobs, there's a bunch of gray area for the next 15. It doesn't even matter that Auburn "plays second fiddle". That dumb.
Auburn is a paragon of inconsistency, the very definition of feast or famine. Yes, there’s a title in the past 16-year span, along with three SEC Championships, but there’s also 10 seasons with four or more losses. They’ve had back-to-back 10-win seasons exactly once in their program’s history. It’s a good job, but it doesn’t compete with the potential of what can be done at Georgia, where you have primary run of one of the biggest talent pools in the country.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...uburn-has-no-price-warped-fantasy/6533887002/ “It wasn’t so much that Malzahn went 9-4 last year that got him on the hot seat, it’s that he could no longer create the illusion of doing much better. And in the warped world of Auburn football, no price is too high — even in a pandemic — to keep that fantasy alive.”
Pure Elite Jobs Bama, Ohio State, UF, Oklahoma Texas/USC should be but have been average. The next 15 are a muddle mess of similar stature, history, recruiting ability/location, school support/$$$.
