I appreciate the offer but I'm gonna pass.

"white people will never have to worry about that" is exactly what started this. You are being fed a false narrative, and combined with your personal experience are all too willing to believe it, despite it being factually untrue. Plenty of white pope have to worry about being killed by police. It happens every day. It just does not generate the headlines, so you are unaware of it, willfully perhaps.

The only person talking about Asians is you and you’re only doing it because you always try to find a way to make white people “the real victims” because you’re a racist piece of trash who believe that blacks commit more crimes because it’s in their dna.

I love how this racist shitbag likes to pretend he’s not racist because “I’m using stats” but when context is put to those stats his racism comes out.

You should talk about Asians too, and explain why whites are killed by police at double the rate of Asians.

Just because a demographic does not fit your narrative does not mean you just get to ignore it and act like it's not happening. Why do you think whites twice as likely to be killed by police?? Why do you think blacks are killed at 5 times the rate of Asians? What is it about being Asian that makes someone less likely to be killed by police?

I can see that you are resorting to just shouting racist! racist! instead of engaging in discussion. Please stop dodging the questions here. I've been polite with you and answered your question, you could show me the same respect.

You want a discussion let’s have a discussion that we have had numerous times for years.

Why is it that crack cocaine is punished more harshly than cocaine?

Why is a crack addiction treated like a criminal issue and addiction to opioid is treated like a medical condition?

These things are just coincidences, right?

How many times has that been explained to you?

How many times have people tried to have a discussion with you and you turn around and change to some bullshit about how whites are the real victims and Asian! Asians, you can only do that for so long before people notice what you’re really doing.

You’re a fucking racist who is not fooling anyone.

what book is not answering questions out of??

The problem is if you answer the question, your premise falls apart a bit, right? Now cops are not racist against blacks in favor of whites, they are somehow racist against blacks and whites in favor of Asians, to varying degrees? And who the fuck is going to buy that, right?? Like there is some pro-Asian mastermind running all of this, inserting systemic racism into the system, choosing to spare Asians from the wrath of cops, but come down on whites and even morose on blacks? Shit's ridiculous.

Or you have to say that Asians are less predisposed to committing crime, and that's why cops kill them less. That somehow genetically whites are more predisposed to being criminals as compared to Asians, and blacks are even more predisposed to being criminals. But , again, that's not gonna fly with you, is it?

The next option is to come up with some other explanation. But you are sooooo married to this version or "reality" that that would be impossible. Right?

So here we are. You are bobbing and weaving like Ali, and shouting about how racist I am. Awesome.

You refuse to answer the question because it ruins your narrative that cops (*and the system) are racist against blacks in favor of whites. And you refuse to consider the possibility of any other explanations. Suggesting other explanations is actually racist, so

If I am, and let's be honest, I probably am, it has nothing to do with our race.

What is the reason for the increased police interactions with blacks vs. whites?

I'm not totally sure. Racism plays some role, for sure. But also my guess would be that there is a larger percentage of blacks who live in poverty than whites, and they are located in close proximity to eachother in major cities. If you are around more crime, you will also be around more police, and poverty welcomes crime. That puts more black people in contact with police.

You're a fucking moron, the Cops stopped 532,911 people in NYC and 479,619 of them were not arrested. Do you really think they stopped and frisked 463,000 African Americans and Hispanics that were dressed in a gang members uniform?

Is this how a gang member dresses

We can disagree without name calling, I think. Just have a normal discussion.

Do I think every African american the cops stopped was a gang member, wearing colors and throwing up signs? No.
Do I think stopping gang activity was the intent of the law, and the main focus of stop and frisk (which I happen to disagree with by the way)? yes.
Are 81% of all gang members in the US black or Hispanic? Yes
Does that mean if you institute laws to fight gangs that those laws will primarily and disproportionately target black and Hispanics? Yes
Can I find examples of people who do not look at all like gang members who were stopped and frisked, and even shot? Yes
Does that mean that many/most gang members are not somewhat identifiable by telltale characteristics? No.

Was the post I replied to about a guy being in a car and surrounded by cops with their guns drawn because they thought he was a threat? Yes.
Does having cops draw guns on you have anything to do with stop and frisk laws? No.
Did the poster insist I fellate him? Yes.
    Will I do that? No.

Pointing out that police are 5 times more likely to kill a black man than an Asian man is still a discussion of police bias against people of color.

The discussion is about bias. If police are in fact bias in favor of whites, and that's the explanation for why blacks are killed at a rates higher than whites, why are whites twice as likely to be killed by police than Asians? Why are blacks killed at 5 times the rate of Asians?

Why do you think you need to stringently limit the conversation to white and black? Why shouldn't we examine the racial bias for or against other races when dealing with police, and see if it fits your conclusions?

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/12/nyregion/police-searches-smelling-marijuana.html

“The time has come to reject the canard of marijuana emanating from nearly every vehicle subject to a traffic stop,” Judge April Newbauer wrote in a decision in a case involving a gun the police discovered in car they had searched after claiming to have smelled marijuana.

She added, “So ubiquitous has police testimony about odors from cars become that it should be subject to a heightened level of scrutiny if it is to supply the grounds for a search.”

Wonder how many times this was uttered:

Client: wasn’t mine, cop put it there, I swear.
Lawyer: you just said you have never met him, why in the world would he risk his job/life to set you up with a small drug charge?

Sometimes it makes absolutely no sense and you just have to accept that.

It takes one sick individual to purposefully ruin lives. For what? Did he get off on that aspect of it? Or was he doing it to move up by getting a lot of arrests? The "why" here really irks me.

The guy is sick, he was very nonchalant when he approached the drivers, there’s no way that he wasn’t getting off on it. Also it’s not like it just stopped with the arrest, I’m guessing he had to go to court and testify about the drugs he “found”, it takes one sick MF.

This is why it’s important for white people to support BLM, because cops will not stop at just fucking over minorities.

Seriously, viewing every single thing through the same exact racism lens is not healthy. It's not accurate. It does not help.

You seem to be confused about what systemic racism actually is, because you throw a bitch fit every time race/racism is mentioned in regards to some police interaction. Systemic racism does not mean that every person in the criminal justice system is racist, it means we have systems and institutions that are set up to disproportionately target minority communities (specifically African-Americans).

These same fucked up systems affect white people too believe it or not. It's not like the police stop being sheisty because there are no black people around. Ergo, white people have a reason to support BLM too.

Also, should white people not support a movement trying to combat racial injustice? You seem to be pretty outraged at the assertion we should.

oh no, I know what systemic racism means. I get it. What I don't get is how a white cop planting evidence which ruins the lives of a bunch of white people is equated to racism. There is a broader, more encompassing issue; police malfeasance. It's cops being bad cops. Now that can mean racism, yes. it can mean white cops being shitty to black people. And beyond just shitty, it can mean white cops killing black people for no good reason. But it can also mean white cops being shitty to white people. And killing white people for no good reason as well. And black cops begin shitty to black and white people.

You are using systemic racism as the catch-all, the umbrella that all police malfeasance falls under, but you have it exactly backwards.

If anything, this does not indicate that whites need to back BLM, it indicates that perhaps blacks should support police reform in a much broader sense than just as it relates to blacks, because bad police are bad to blacks and whites and every shade in between. That maybe, if we want to use this cop as an example, instead of black lives matter, it should be minority lives matter, or poor lives matter, or innocent lives matter.

White people 100% should support movements that are trying to combat racial injustice. But this is not an example of that, and is not a reason why white people should support BLM. There are absolutely reasons why whites should support BLM. This is not one of them.

He was hit in the back of the head and thought he'd been shot?

This is exactly why petrified fucks shouldn't be able to carry guns.

"It was out of the blue, and the officer wasn't expecting it — he's hit in the back of his head while he's holding his child in his hands," Hestrin said. "I can only imagine those facts played into the jury's decision here."

Hestrin said the incident happened "very fast," with Sanchez firing less than four seconds after he was struck. The officer believed he had been shot and that he was firing at an active shooter, officials said during a Wednesday press conference, citing witnesses who heard him say he had been shot and saw him reach to the back of his head multiple times to look for blood.

Sanchez reportedly suffered minor injuries, and his son was not hurt.

This is 100% in the cop textbook.

Believing his life and his son's life were in "immediate danger," Winslow has said, Sanchez fired his handgun. Ten rounds were fired, officials said Wednesday. Four bullets struck Kenneth French, and each parent was hit once and wounded.

The guy who makes conversation an argument on how “white men” are the real oppressed group is lecturing me, that’s too funny.

Also yes that video showed that white officers fucking over white people, because he was emboldened by the protection the system provided. Perhaps if white folks took what happened to Rodney King seriously someone like him is held accountable sooner, right? The thing about people on power trips is that they’re never satisfied and the more they get away with the more emboldened they become.

I'm not really sure this is a lecture, more of a discussion, but ok. "white men" are oppressed when they are oppressed. Black men are oppressed when they are. And Hispanic women and Asian children and so on. No one is by default oppressed. When they are, they are. When they aren't, they aren't. This isn't difficult.

It's a little racist to group all "white folks" together and assume none of them took Rodney King seriously, sin't it? We all think the same, none of "us" took Rodney King seriously. Interesting approach in a discussion about racism. People on a power trip don't give a fuck if your skin is white or black, it's about power. Sure, that can mean different thing to different people, but cramming every single thing into your "this is racist!" box is dumb. It's not accurate.

Why wasn't this cop sexist? Maybe this cop hates women and has been emboldened by the fact that his misogyny has gone unchecked for years and the protection that the system provided. Now his sexism not only applies to women, but men as well. He was not satisfied with just being sexist against women, he became more and more emboldened as he got away with it over and over. We can pretty clearly see that when he plants evidence and arrests white men that it's sexism at play.

Take a step back. Just stop and listen to yourself. White cops fucking over white people is racist. This is your argument. This is what you seriously believe. It's a stretch to even call that a stretch. There is absolutely racism in the world, but not everything is racism. Seriously, not everything is racist.
