I don't know what bothers me more about the Buffalo PD video -- the fact that cops shove an obviously elderly man, or the fact they step over him like a piece of trash while he is obviously knocked out and bleeding. Fully expecting by this time tomrrow to have this guys parking ticket history published to show why he deserved what happened. You know, the routine PD public relations playbook.

Just like choke holds are prohibited actions by the NYPD, but that didn't stop Eric Garner's murderer from walking free. As much as people want to point the finger at cops, the issue is sadly alot bigger than just those who wear the badge. It's an entire system from police unions, DAs/AGs, judges and more that sweep things under the rug, even when the rest of the world knows they are in the wrong.
I’ve been feeling this way all week. I can’t stop watching the atrocities occurring on our streets, but all it’s doing is making me angrier and angrier. Politicians are weak and slow. We need change now. Police have complete impunity and no fear of retribution. It’s time that ends. How, I don’t know. All I know is that I’m mad and this can’t continue.
