That one bag is all stems
Obviously improving diversity in the police force is extremely valuable. However, claiming their change in policy is intended for that purpose, then including 3 guys who look identical is hilarious.
Laughed very hard at this
That picture just screams diversity, well done LPD
Was the previous hair length restriction a minimum or..?
It was probably posted here at some point and you guys are surely aware of this scam but that just blows my mind
-guy gets pulled over for driving too close to another car
-police is nice but just so he could get his way in searching the vehicle, the guy says no problem and admits to having a large amount of money in the car since he prefers to keep it with him(he doesn’t trust banks, stupid but none of their business)
- they find the money, take some and bring in the dog to check if there is any trace of drugs. In the us a large percentage of money has cocaine on it so it’s obvious the dog will trace it.
-they take all of his money, 87k
- guy had to hire a lawyer and fight to get it back
literally highway robbery
Heard a commercial for this today. Sad and pathetic that it has to exist.
How TurnSignl Works
Connect in Real-Time
When you’re pulled over, launch the app with the press of a button or single voice command.
The app begins to record through the front-facing camera and stores video in the user’s cloud.
Video Chat with Attorney
An expert attorney appears on the screen to guide and de-escalate the entire interaction.
Get Home Safe
Our mission is to get everyone home safely and provide guidance for future action if needed.
Prosecutors instead of police
We can laugh all we want, but as we can see showcased on this table, this criminal enterprise was still in its infancy and had cartel-level aspirations. Not one, but two, Dollar General 100 packs of sandwich baggies.
good on the police for not just planting a gun on the dead suspect this is real progress
The bike “went down” killing the boy.
They released the video. The suspect was no threat to anyone at the time. He was no where near the woman he had attacked. He didn’t have to fire.
They also knew that the dressing room was right there, one of the officers yells “fitting room”.
And they were trying to pull back on Rambo's leash the whole time. Dude did what he showed up to do.
The guy that was killed seemed like a pos and could have killed the woman he was attacking. I wouldn’t be shedding a tear if he’d have gotten killed as a result of the cops saving the woman he was attacking. The issue is that the guy wasn’t a threat at the time he was shot. The video released is 30 minutes long. The guy was intoxicated (drug booze idk) or had mental health issues.
I’m sure there’s a ton of reading out there on this subject as well. I been on and off listening to this podcast where they dig into bullshit expert testimony.
Thus is why the entire system needs to be torn down and rebuilt. The large majority of police departments are literally gangs that will go to any lengths to protect their own, not the people they are sworn to protect.
Like how is that legal? Why does the fed not step in and arrest the DA and everyone in police leadership for allowing them to attack and intimidate a whistleblower? It's mind blowing they are allowed to do it right in the open with nobody there to check them.
Every elected official in America is so afraid of blowback from even thinking of calling a cop wrong it rarely happens. Had there not been a videotape, Derek Chauvin would have walked. The system is broken, which is why em there needs to be a complete overhaul of policing in America, but we’re back to being too afraid to admit it.
so what they're saying is they're like a gang or the mafia
Decades of propaganda has given a lot of people brain worms to where "back the blue" and "support the troops" are seen as patriotic so a large voting group can't wrap their head around even questioning police. Of course they are white so they rarely run into a situation where they are personally affected.
they couldn't, the store had cameras.
This goes back to what to say or do about defund. Reform is met with as much vitriol as defund because police are viewed as infallible about a field they chose to work in. Defund or reform won’t work for them because they don’t see murdering black people as a big deal.
This will not end well. I guess I’m done with hyvee if this is a real thing.
Also, no masks.
Can’t stand the “I was in the military 30 years ago and still wearing this hat” demographic.
I think one of the last times I went out to the bars in South Bend, something close to this happened. A handful of people got into a fight and the police showed up. Apprehended two of the instigators, cuffed them, and had them up against the huge glass windows looking into the restaurant with guns drawn on them. Tons of people directly in the line of fire inside the bar.
Can't remember where this case was posted but the governor reduced it from 110 years to 10.
Clearly use of the dog was necessary based on the cops concern with the suspect after the dog peaces out
still too much for what I understand was a tragic accident
But I wonder if the prosecutor still keeps her brake pad trophy?
