Nah. I’m blaming you because of your pattern of behavior. Just like they’re blaming cops because of their pattern of behavior.
These guys weren't clearing streets. They weren't dictating anything. They were retreating the entire video. If you have video of this group doing the things you're saying, please post it.
You realize this started in a different thread 2 days ago, I dropped it yesterday, then I was tagged itt again today, right? But you're blaming me for keeping it going lol
Yes because taller cops are so much calmer and aren’t prone to violence. OMG I CANT BELIEVE I FEEL FOR IT
kicking ass and taking names and their pens were all out of ink. they in the ass kicking business and baby business is good/
I don't know the logistics of the entire protest or who was where and why. You don't either. You make a lot of assumptions.
For the tenth time, I have no idea. You don't either. Was it to stop them from protesting? Idk, maybe? Was it to make sure pro-life fucks didn't show up and huge brawls break out? Idk, maybe. Maybe both? You seem to have it all figured out and won't take anything other than "To suppress their right to protest!" as an answer.
These are the same thing. Pro-life fucks have the right to counter protest. The police do not have right to deny that from anybody. But that’s exactly why they were there.
No but I’ve never done a protest and have them show up in Halo cosplay. You ever thing it’s weird that the response to January 6 and a peaceful protest for womens rights are handled so differently? What about Trump rallies and BLM events. It’s ok to just admit your stance was a bad look and move on. Cops are very well paid to have angry people yell at them. It’s just seems that the shitty entitied white dude yelling about a speeding ticket is treated better than literally everyone else. The issue everyone here is being tone deaf to a moment. I’ve been there, admitted I might be on the wrong side of this and moved on.
So you'd be cool with Proud Boys type guys showing up and attacking the pro-choice crowd? Cops should just stay away and let the two groups fight it out?
Of course, the response to BLM and 1/6 in DC was as blatant as can be. And yes, cops are paid and should walk away from stuff like this, which is what they did. That doesn't make the camera guy in the right, though.
I’ll go on the record for saying you have no love for cops and all that shit. You’ve been very vocal about it. We’re just at that weird place where you sort of misspoke but you’re fully incapable of admitting youre on the shit side of this one. Like I said, I’ve been there. I’d just move on even if you’re still being called out on it. Every reply is a step backwards
Of course not. But cops don’t get to play pre-cog and take away everyone’s rights. Cops don’t get to intimidate because they think something might possibly become violent at some point. Their promise of preemptive violence is not justified by a hypothetical future crime. Again cops respond after things go south. Also, yes, seeing as how the pro-choice population is bigger than the anti-choice population, yes I would prefer the two groups be allowed to “fight it out.” My side wins that fight.
That's fair, but let me be clear, I didn't misspeak. I'm not a fan of berating another human when I haven't seen them specifically do something fucked up, that includes cops. I don't let me hatred of shitty cops change my view on that.
It’s fucked up to show up as a cop in riot gear to a protest of our rights being stolen by Christofascists.
No, in this make believe scenario the pro-life fucks showed up with bats and brass knuckles and attacked the unarmed pro-choice crowd. If cops were eating doughnuts at the station 20 minutes away, people would blame them for letting it happen. Them being on site to make sure shit doesn't go sideways isn't the issue. Them lashing out at protesters like they did in other videos is. But they didn't in the video we've been discussing.
Wrong. It’s exactly the issue. Whose order are the cops upholding by showing up in riot gear to a protest before violence occurs?
yeah, do not. watched it and I regret it. The officer driving the van basically yelled at him for falling. Then he got back in the van, called the ambulance while driving to the detention center. The officers then moved him carelessly into a wheelchair while just telling him that he was fine but he drank too much and that’s why he couldn’t move. One kept asking him how much he had to drink. Then they tossed him in a cell, without the wheelchair, he was just lying on the floor in his cell. Completely inhumane. Wrong on every level, the driver of the van had no business moving that van before the paramedics got there.
Handcuff someone behind their back on a slippery surface with no restraints and floor it. Sounds about right.
I just saw 5 separate traffic stops and got stuck when 4 police SUVs were all blocking a major intersection, out of their vehicles, then went peeling off. All in a matter of 10-15 minutes in one section of a relatively small suburb. They’re doing some kind of fuckery.
