The funny part was we got the car and the cop said it was apparent the car was stolen because a car that nice would never be in the apartment complex it was recovered. It was a 2012 Ford Focus
All open carry laws are white people laws. I know they can’t legally say that, but it’s pretty goddamn obvious.
Piece of fucking shit cop shoots and kills a golden retreiver in front of families cause god knows it was gonna rip his head off if he didn’t. Spoiling bodycam video which he muted before shooting Spoiler
Been saying this for years but a lot of POC’s are dumb enough to think those laws aren’t designed to kill them in many different ways. That’s just one example
Sir, I had to kinetically discharge my firearm to subdue the threat after conducting an ocular assessment of the situation. The threat:
Im not saying the response should be a John Wick style revenge tour on all cops, but I’m also not saying it’s not.
It’s always been weird to me that they aren’t realizing that all gun laws are implicitly for white owners and no one is actually saying that the second doesn’t apply to blacks because they weren’t people when it was passed. The whole “good guy with a gun” is also a white trope. Any cop that shows up and sees a black man brandishing a weapon will draw on them. They do it without a weapon. Gun laws are white people laws.
God damn. Really heavy quote Ann Butts, the young man’s mother, said his family misses him every day. “I can’t express how hurtful it was to learn that SPD endorsed joking about the ki-lling of my son by displaying a fake tombstone with his name on it,” she said in a statement through her attorney, former King County public defender La Rond Baker. “I didn’t think SPD could take more from me,” she said. “I was wrong.”
Yeah there's scum... ...and then there's the detritus that is digested and shit out by the scum. It's so low and degenerate that it doesn't even qualify a name. That's what those officers are.
Also, if these fucks fashion themselves as tardigrades, can we let them free float in space for a while and test that theory?
I dont watch videos of cops killing dogs anymore but fuck if it doesn't piss me off how little regard they have for killing people's pets. if a dog comes around a corner wrong they have no issue putting them down and it absolutely should be a crime the same way it'd be if I shot a random person's dog on their property. but similar to black people or really any situation whatsoever, if a cop is scared for any reason they have carte blanche to start firing at anything until it stops moving
Catch some serious charges killing a police dog. Nothing for them killing dogs. So basically it works the same as people.
“When the incident went through the department’s normal force review process, officials cleared Benza of wrongdoing. One sergeant wrote that Brock was assaultive “with threat of serious bodily injury.” Another sergeant, listed as the watch commander, concurred, saying the incident was within policy and the force used was “objectively reasonable.” The sergeant also checked “no” on the paperwork next to the question: “Could officer safety, tactical communication, or de-escalation techniques have been improved?” The station captain agreed with the two sergeants below him. Only once the matter went up to the division commander did the report note room for improvement.” Civilian review boards are long overdue.
That’s really fucked up considering the officer was telling the K-9 officer not to release the dog the whole time because he had his hands up.
Thank God for our brave men in blue! Could you imagine the carnage that would have ensued had it not been for these fine officers?
this legit breaks my heart/brain. This man obviously has issues. IDC how long he was taking but they could have gotten someone to actually fucking help him pay. They didn’t have to arrest him. Fuck those cops.
I’ve had therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists tell me if I’m having an episode not to call the cops to try and reach them. It’s said that the record “if you’re having a medical emergency call 911” can honestly become a death sentence.
Very sage advice. Cops come with handcuffs, tasers, and the legal authority to kill you. They're using one of them regardless. I have so many clients who say they called 911 to teach their partner a "lesson," and they don't want them in jail. I tell them every time they could have had them killed.
From what I read in some comment this target is or was at the time, self-checkout only. If he was able to go to a cashier I bet this whole thing would have been avoided.
From what I’ve encountered at most (if not all) self checkout places, they usually have a worker to help with anyone who has a problem. They probably just didn’t want to deal with someone who was “different”.
A mentally challenged person can't check out from target but a cop can wave threaten suicide and he's allowed to just leave. This perfectly sums up where we are now. According to the Tampa police department, officers were called to the hotel to investigate a report of a couple arguing and a man pointing a gun at himself. A statement provided to the Guardian said officers identified the man as Ramirez, but after talking to him and a woman with him, determined there was “no evidence of a crime or immediate danger” and left.
