For sure that's the case. But he is probably at the end of his day, underpaid, and in charge of 6-8 registers, all with varying issues. Not excusing the employee from calling the cops though, he is still an asshole for that. But those cops were just evil and escalated it way beyond where it needed to go. This video just hit different from other cop abuse videos for me. It's not just cops overstepping when someone talks back or pisses them off. It's police abusing someone who not only needs them, but is begging other cops to help him on 911. This guy believed in the system and got fucked.
“Was I not loud enough?” Fuck this fucking asshole. He intentionally said it loud enough that only people in his very near proximity could hear him; he was basically talking to himself. Then went out of his way to get his narrative corroborated on video.
So that incident at Target apparently happened last August. The main cop, Kenneth Skeens, was fired back in February and he had charges brought against him earlier this month for false imprisonment and perjury, which are fourth-degree felonies, and filing a false police report and battery, which are misdemeanors. However, this from the article is very disturbing
Fucking Ketchum?! Dude lived up to his namesake and kept the Pokémon narrative way too close to heart.
I mean why can’t these fucks show compassion. I was in a dollar store and encountered a similar man struggling, just tying to buy some flip flops while digging through his pockets and bag for change. The employees were trying to kick him out because he didn’t have shoes on. I mean common sense would tell you he needs them. Wasn’t much money, but I just bought him for the guy. Is it really that hard to show compassion or patience? World sucks
I can’t imagine the Minneapolis PD being that much different than any other PD, but here’s some of what was in the DOJ report.
he managed not to shoot the guy or accidentally shoot his own k9, this just seems like better than average police work!!
HONEST MISTAKE. I DIDNT GRADUATE 2ND GRADE. CANT EXPECT ME TO KNOW EVERY ABBREVIATION FOR A STATE WITH AN A IN IT
Here's the perspective of officer dumbfuck, the one who set the dog loose on that guy in Ohio. I really detest the use of dogs as a tool for compliance, it's disgusting. Plus cops always start screaming stop moving, stop resisiting while the suspect is getting mauled. Do they actually expect someone to just act like some fucking stoic philosopher while they are getting eaten?
Really cool that they just run your plates for the crime of having an out of state license leaving a fucking hotel
Come on, they ran their plates for legitimate purposes, they had an out of state license plate while black.
Wapo published an op ed by Charles Murray on crime and policing today so that’s pretty cool https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/08/01/broken-windows-policing-crime-trends/
lack of self awareness is amazing. You guys kill unarmed innocent people. You beat the shit out of them with flashlights and night sticks. A chair is deescalation which we know they know nothing about
